Chapter 6

It has been a week since the day Chris and I hung out around town last and we actually hanged out for the rest of the week after that and honestly, it feels like every day gets better and better. It's like the birds are chirping louder, the sun is shining brighter and *swoons* every day feels better than the last.

Let me tell you why, after our little, well you can call it a moment. We stayed there a bit longer and then he dropped me off back to my car and... We EXCHANGED NUMBERS, he said he was thinking of staying here for a bit longer so he thought it would be a great idea for us to stay in touch and get to meet up again. Of course, I couldn't say no. So after our exchange, we both got in our car and went our separate ways and we have been texting and calling nonstop.

The mornings, not my greatest friend, well we have a more love-hate relationship as it obviously depends on the day it disrupts my sleep. Like today, for example, is a Monday. So obviously I'm gonna hate it.

Right after reaching to turn off my alarm I hear my mom, as per usual, asking if I'm awake.

"Drea, you awake?" She calls from across the hall from her room.

"Yeah, 'm awake ma," I grumble out as I try to rub all the sleepiness out of my eyes.

"Okay, just making sure."

As I sit up to stretch and get ready for the day I notice my phone lights up, already had a feeling on who it was I grab my phone off the counter and disconnect it from the charger.

Chris ๐Ÿฅฐ:
Goodmorning sweetheart, hope you have a great day at school today and I will see you soon!! Xx
sent 6:00a.m.

Andreaย ๐Ÿ‘‘:
Goodmorningg, awe thank you so much and can't wait to see you too!! Xx
sent 6:02a.m.

Once I make sure the message sent, I set my phone down and got ready for the day. I just pull on a simple black v-neck t-shirt, my favorite pair of high waisted blue jeans and top it off with a flannel tied around my waist and last but not least, my original converse. When I'm all done I do the usual, you already know.

You know that feeling you get when someone you absolutely adore and always gives you those little butterflies floating around in your stomach, and I know this all sounds so cheesy and I don't really do chick-flick moments (where my Spn fam at??) But I just can't help it, and I know it's wrong to feel this way about him since there is a pretty huge age between us but, *sighs* he is just amazing.

I obviously have been keeping my feelings on the down-low, well as low as I could cause apparently I'm "easy to read" at least that is what my friends say. In my defense, I feel like I'm doing a pretty dang good job, or well at least a decent job anyways.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I have a love and hate relationship with my school. I mean, it gets overly annoying but then on some days (mostly Fridays and Wednesdays), they aren't as bad as others. It's probably just me. My school has almost about 4 thousand students and if you think that's nothing then your crazy, my school is so overcrowded I always say to myself that if a zombie apocalypse would break out, we would all be screwed. I know that sounds a bit too dramatic but it's true.

Now you're probably wondering, where the hell is she going with this? Well, I'm getting there my peeps. Actually, I'm already there.

I'm sitting through my last class of the day, as I am waiting for the bell to ring any moment now, indicating I'd have to walk home since my car decided to take a break on me yesterday, so I now have to sadly walk, to my grandmother's house. It's sad really cause this girl doesn't do exercising, ha I'm kidding, I do yoga every Tuesday and Thursdays. Gotta keep that healthy life, even if I'm a true couch potato by heart.

As I'm oblivious to my surroundings from being zoned out too long I didn't notice that bell rung until my friend Karelyn got my attention.

"Hey Drea, you good?" I hear from behind me.

"Huh? Oh ya, I'm fine, why?" I ask as I watch some people getting up from their seats and walking out.

"The bell just rang, you must have been that zoned out huh?" My friend Karelyn replies, getting up herself and starts collecting her things. I must have been really zoned out if I didn't even hear the bell ring. I think to myself as I get prepared to leave too.

"Oh, yeah I guess I zoned out a bit too long. I'm just tired 's all." I tell her while we walk together outside the class and into the hallway, adding the last part as she gave me a concerned expression when she glanced at me.

"Alright, well I got to go to my last class since not all of us could go home right away." She comments with an exaggerated tone, as she slowly walks towards her last destination.

"Aww poor you, well byeee," I tell her with a fake frown as to mess with her.

"Hey, rudee!" I hear her laugh at the end of her sentence as I walk farther away and towards my ticket if getting out of here, the gate. I made it about halfway when I hear someone calling my name from behind me and turn around to find one of my other friends,(cause yes I have more than one friend), Elijah, or as I call him Eli.

"Hey Andrea," Eli announces as he catches up to me.

"Hey, Eli."

"Uh, how was your day?" he asks me while we continue walking to the gate.

"It was good, how about you?"

"That's good, mine was pretty good. So I was wonder-" he stops as I pull out my phone, seeing as I am getting a call from someone.

"I'm sorry, can I take this really quickly? Thank you."

When I check to see who it is, my heart stops and I swear it skipped a beat. I was obviously curious as to why they were calling me but I also didn't mind really, yeah we talked on the phone a few times like I mentioned but it still sometimes felt, well unserial I guess? to see his name and picture show up on my phone.

I mean, it has been a couple of days that we haven't hung out with each other since he's been busy communicating with his agent.

"Hello?" I ask when I answer.

"Hey, sweetheart! How was your day?" I hear Chris speak from the other side of the phone.

"Well, I just got out of school so it's been good so far, haha. How about you?" I respond back as I exit through the other side of the gate and smile at Eli as he holds the door open for me.

"It was good, especially now that I am about to see my favorite girl right now." He retorts and I can almost hear the grin on his face through the phone.

"Oh," and I'm not gonna lie, that made me feel a certain way I never wanted to feel again. I wonder if he met someone here? Or has he always known someone else here and just didn't bother to mention it?

"Yeah, it's actually quite amusing since she isn't really expecting me at all today." He answers, it sounds like he's trying to contain a giggle.

"Well, I'm sure she would be very happy to see you...I know I would," I mumble the last part to myself as I feel a sort of jealousy towards this person I don't even know of, yet I can't help it.

"Well, I guess I will onlyย find out if she bothers to turns around."

"Huh?"

"Turn around you dork," Chris tells me, letting out a soft chuckle.

When I hear that the call had abruptly ended, I stare at my phone for a moment confused and then turn towards the parking lot, that contains all the seniors and their cars rushing by to get out of here, but what captures my eye the most is the familiar car waiting parked right across from me by the loading zone with an all too familiar figure leaning against it with their arms folded in front of them and a huge grin covering his face.

I just couldn't believe it, I don't know if it was just my mind playing some tricks on me until I see the person wave their arm at me and call my name. Then that's when I knew it was real.
I race towards them, reaching them halfway in the parking lane and launche myself in their arms.

"Hey Sweetheart, gosh I missed you a lot." I hear Chris mumble as he pulls me in closer to him, if possible, and sticks his face in my hair.

"I missed you too, so much," I responded as I shove my face into his neck as he continues to hold me up in his arms

"What the heck are you doing here? Not that I mind, cause I am really glad you are here. But what are you doing well here at my school?" I ask as he lowers me back down to the floor gently.

"As I said, I came to see my favorite girl." He replies smiling down at me as he takes a hold of my hand.

I just know that my face is as red as a tomato from his words and action. I was gonna reply back when I realized that I totally forgot about Eli and turned around to make sure he was still there, and sure enough, he was.

"Hey Eli, sorry about that I just haven't seen this guy in a while," I told him as I waved him over to come closer.

"Na, don't worry about it and I can tell by the way you took off." He replies with a cheerful voice, chuckling at the end. Which seemed almost too forced.

"Oh, what was it that you wanted to ask me?" I inquire as I remembered he was about to ask me something when I got the call from Chris.

He looks as if he was about to say something when he looks at me but then changes his mind as I see his eyes travel down to mine and Chris' joined hands.

"Oh nothing, I will see you later yeah?" He says as he waves and starts to walk off towards his car. I didn't even get to reply as he is already halfway across the parking lot to his mini green honda.

"Hey, everything alright?" I hear Chris ask me from behind me as I continue to watch my friend leave with a sudden feeling of guilt.

"Hmm... yeah everything is great," I say as I finally look at him to be greeted with that beautiful smile.

"Good, so do you think you have time to go on another trip around town?" He asks me with a glint of mischievous in his eyes and a small smirk forming his lips.

"Hmmm, I don't know I will have to check, but I think I can adjust a few things" I respond while mirroring his expression as he leads me to the passenger seat of his car.
