Chapter 22

I can't believe we're actually here. The plane just touched down on the runway when I looked over at Chris, leaning his head against my shoulder snoozing away, he looked so cute and I felt so bad but I knew I had to wake him if we wanted to get out on time as I know that it takes a while for him to wake up.

"Hey Chris come on, we just landed...chrissy wake uppp."

Nothing.

"Come on you meatball wake upp." again nothing.

I swear it's like trying to wake the dead.

"Pssst, babe wake uppp," I plead, hoping that maybe sweet talking would wake him.

"Pleasee come on babe wake upp," then I decided, since I've been watching Disney movies too much, to try and see if true loves kiss would work.

I lean in and plant a soft and gentle kiss on his lips and... he moves a bit.

Seriously?

So I decided to just plant a big one on him and waited there till he moved more or fully woke, jokes on me was that I didnt even realize that he woke up the first time but was only pretending to be asleep.

I knew I should have taken off his glasses to see if he was awake or not, so all I feel is a fully force on the back of my head holding me in place as he starts kissing me back.

Which was amazing, but also a bit uncomfortable as there was a lot of people on the plane that can see us, especially the people behind us and across from us. He eventually pulled away though.

As we both tried to regain our breathing I look over to see him smirking at me as he was breathing hard and I knew that I was just messed with.

That little punk... was all I thought as we start taking off our seat belts and wait to be let out. Of course like the gentleman he was, he let me walk go out first from our aisle and quickly made sure we had everything we brought with us, then proceeded to follow as I headed through the gate.

I feel him grab ahold of my hand as we walk over to get our luggage from the baggage carousel and once we were able to find all our bags, which only consist of his medium size suitcase and mine as we brought our backpacks with us on the plane. We headed over to the nearest exit and I couldn't help but feel nervous even if there aren't many people here either since it's already eight o'clock but you still never know if someone could recognize him.

Thankfully, we didn't run into any problems and got outside that lead to a really nice view of the city. I figured that he already texted Scott to let him know we had landed as he starts leading us to a parking lot on the right side of the airport.

We stopped at a waiting zone and I then realized a tall dark blonde man waiting by another Jeep Grand Cherokee that's similar to Chris' and I'm guessing by how excited he looked, waving at us that it was Scott.

As we got closer he starts walking over to us and before I know it, I'm enveloped into a gigantic hug and let me tell you I'm only 5'2 and these two guys are about 6' - 6'1 so you can imagine how I feel basically being lifted up in the air like a doll and pulled into a spine crushing hug... but I'm not complaining, it was actually comforting and relaxed my nervous down so I hugged back after I realized what was happening.

"Oh My Goshh, you have no idea how excited I am that I finally get to meet the woman who has my brother wrapped around her finger." I hear Scott exclaim excitedly.

All I could do was chuckle and return the feeling of meeting him as well.

"It's really great to meet you too Scott! I finally get to meet my future best friend!" I joke as I feel him hug me tighter.

" 'lright Scott I think you might be suffocatin' the poor gal and what' yuh brother don't get a welcome hug?" I hear Chris chuckle out, holding his arms open.

"Aww I'm sorry I just got really excited to see yuh," he explains, starting to let his accent slip through as does Chris, pulling the man into a hug as well.

We pile all the luggage into the trunk, as in 'we' I meant the men, since the guys wouldn't allow me to do anything and requested that in I quote, 'we got this doll go ahead and settle yuhself in the cah,' well that's what Chris suggested as they were already basically done putting everything away, well besides my backpack, as I had my charger, phone and other necessities that I would need on me personally.

So I just playfully rolled my eyes and went towards the backseat, which led to it being closed, obviously not in a rude way, by Scott as he hoped in and by the look of my confused expression, pointed to the passenger seat where I saw Chris getting in the driver's side. I hop in still unsure what was happening when Scott just explained that he didn't want to be rude to the guest, a.k.a me, and let me sit in the front.

Which might have made him one of my favorite persons I met today.

It took a while to get to Chris' house, as they explained that's where we were going first to relax and freshen up, since he obviously lived outside of Boston, more near his family but I didnt mind as I was able to look around the scenery and got to see how different the atmosphere was from California and let me tell you, it was so nice and beautiful out here in Massachusetts and different in a good way compared to the busy life style in California.

I mean ya there are lots of building and crowded hang-outs, but as you got deeper in and left the city it started flourishing with trees with occasional small cottages, lakes and rivers and it was just all so magical and full of life, it gave off that homey feeling like out of a fairy tale and I knew instantly that I fell in love with the place, with the atmosphere and I honestly didn't really want to go back home.
