Dong Hua paced up and down while waiting anxiously for Feng Jiu in the lobby area. "A surprise from Xiao Bai? Hmm... I wonder what the surprise is."

After waiting for 30 minutes, he spotted Feng Jiu walking over with a big smile on her face. She quickly waved to Dong Hua upon seeing him, and she hastens her footsteps.

"Did you wait long, Dong Hua? Sorry I had to dry my hair first!" Feng Jiu said. Dong Hua shook his head gently and replied, "No, I just got here too. So, where are we going?"

"Let's go to your car now! I'll give you the GPS location, and you'll see the surprise when we get there." Feng Jiu excitedly dragged Dong Hua towards the car park.

"Oh?" He replied casually with a smile.

When they were in the open-air car park, Feng Jiu looked up at the sky and smiled. "Glad that the clouds cleared up now." Then they quickly got into the car, and Feng Jiu gave directions.

After driving for a while, Dong Hua noticed that they were driving up a slope, and it was getting darker as there were fewer streetlights. He glanced over to Feng Jiu and asked, "I thought you're afraid of the dark?"

Feng Jiu smiled and replied happily, "I am, but you're here with me, so I'm not too afraid now."

Finally, they arrived at their 'surprise' destination. Dong Hua parked the car, and Feng Jiu turned on the flashlight on her phone before getting off the car.

"Where are we?" Dong Hua asked curiously. Feng Jiu slowly walked over to him and stood close beside him. "We are at the top of a cliff. I did my research before we came on this trip, and they said that this is the best place for..." Then she smirked.

Dong Hua thought to himself, "For what? What is Xiao Bai going to do to me?" Then he calmed himself down and replied casually, "Oh? The best place for what?"

Feng Jiu chuckled and told Dong Hua to look up at the sky. Both of them immediately looked up and noticed that the sky was covered in stars tonight. "Best for stargazing. It rained heavily earlier on, and now all the clouds are gone."

Dong Hua smiled brightly and replied lovingly, "Is this your surprise for me? I love it. It's my first time stargazing."

Feng Jiu suddenly felt a little chilly, and Dong Hua put his arms around her shoulders, "You're feeling cold, huh? Let's head back to the car." He said.

"But... I'm not done stargazing." She pouted. Dong Hua replied lovingly, "Who said that we are done with it?" Then he offered his arm to Feng Jiu while walking back to their car since it was dark.

When they got into Dong Hua's car, he turned on the engines and pressed the button to retract his car roof. "Now, we have an open view of the sky in the comfort of our car." Dong Hua said. Feng Jiu looked up in the sky and replied excitedly, "You're so smart, Dong Hua! Now we can continue our stargazing here!" Then Dong Hua got off the car and walked towards the car boot.

He returned to the car with a small and warm blanket, along with a small torchlight. Then he gently placed the blanket on Feng Jiu's lap and asked her to cover herself with it.

"You're so thoughtful, Dong Hua. You're always one step ahead of others, and you're always prepared for the worst. It feels nice now since I don't feel cold anymore." Feng Jiu said lovingly.

"Survival skills, Xiao Bai. I had to learn how to survive, so I kept these useful things near to me. They are definitely handy for emergencies." Dong Hua replied casually.

"It must be difficult for you in the past. You're always so wary of everyone and everything, as if you're constantly on your toes." Feng Jiu frowned.

"It's okay, Xiao Bai. Now I have you, and I know that you'll always come to save me when I need help. You already saved me a few times." Dong Hua smiled warmly.

Feng Jiu nodded her head gently and replied lovingly, "Of course I would!" Then the both of them adjusted their car seats backwards and laid down while looking up at the sky.

"I said that I would surprise you, but you ended up surprising me again." Feng Jiu smiled and looked over at Dong Hua.

"It's still considered as your surprise. If you didn't bring me here, I wouldn't know this beautiful place existed. I always wanted to go stargazing with someone. It's just different doing it alone." Dong Hua smiled.

Feng Jiu gently held onto his hand and replied shyly, "It's okay, Dong Hua. From now onwards, I'll accompany you to wherever you want to go, and we can do everything that you always wanted to do."

"Everything...?" He thought to himself, and he couldn't help but think of some dirty thoughts.

Dong Hua then immediately changed the topic to distract himself, "So... Are you still nervous about round two of the competition? We can practice it now if you want to."

"Yeah, I am still feeling a little nervous. I don't want to practice it now since we are here to enjoy and relax. But I really want to win this competition!" Feng Jiu nodded her head.

"Why are you so adamant about winning this?" Dong Hua asked curiously, and he also thought to himself, "Is it because of Su Moye as well? Considering the winner would get to work with him often." Although Feng Jiu claims that she has no feelings for Su Moye, he still feels paranoid and insecure at the back of his mind.

"That's because I need the winning money. Also, I want to showcase my talent to everyone." Feng Jiu replied casually.

"What are you going to do with that big sum of money? If you needed money, you could always ask me for it." Dong Hua replied.

Feng Jiu immediately shook her head and replied, "No, no! I don't want to take your money, and I want to earn it myself. I need the money for my family."

Dong Hua assumed that Feng Jiu meant she was saving money for her parents. What he didn't know was that she also regarded Ye Qingti as her family.

"Oh, I see. How about the Europe trip?" He asked curiously. Deep inside, he hoped Feng Jiu would bring him along on the trip.

"Oh! I'm going to Europe with a close friend!" She replied excitedly.

"Who...?" Dong Hua asked.

Right at this moment, a shooting star appeared in the sky. Feng Jiu immediately sat back up and pointed to the sky excitedly, "A shooting star! Quick, make a wish!"

Then she closed her eyes and made a wish to herself silently. "I wish that everyone that I loved and cared about will always be happy and safe. I wish that Ye Qingti will wake up soon and I'll win this competition. Most importantly, I wish that Dong Hua will feel the same way as me, and we will be together forever."

Dong Hua also sat up and closed his eyes while making a wish to himself. "I wish that Xiao Bai will always be happy and safe. I wish that time will stop here, and we will always be this happy together. I wish that I could... kiss her now..."

After they were done with their wishes, Dong Hua asked Feng Jiu curiously, "Do you think our wishes will come true?"

"I think it will. Everyone said that if you wished hard enough on a shooting star, it would definitely come true." Feng Jiu smiled.

"Oh. I really hope so." Dong Hua replied casually, and he kept staring at Feng Jiu's face and her lips.

Feng Jiu felt a little shy since Dong Hua was staring at her intensively. Then she tried to ease the tension by asking him curiously, "So, what did you wish for? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to!"

"I wish that I could kiss you." He replied without thinking. His mind was filled with thoughts of kissing Feng Jiu, but he wanted to respect her, so he resisted the urge to do so.

Feng Jiu blushed and replied shyly, "Oh..."

Dong Hua immediately snapped out of his 'dirty' thoughts and apologized, "I'm sorry, Xiao Bai. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, just pretend that I said nothing. Should we head back now, or do you want to continue stargazing?"

Feng Jiu stared at Dong Hua and replied firmly, "I don't feel uncomfortable, Dong Hua." Then she stared intensively at Dong Hua's lips and stuttered, "I... It's your wish... I mean, you..."

Dong Hua immediately understood that Feng Jiu gave him the 'green light'  to kiss her.

Dong Hua swooped in and kissed Feng Jiu's soft lips. As their lips met, Dong Hua ran his thumb down Feng Jiu's cheek affectionately, and they both closed their eyes. Their hearts beat faster as they started to kiss even more passionately under the open sky. He deepened the kiss and gently tugged at her hair. Feng Jiu held her breath throughout the kiss, and they both thought to themselves, "This is the moment that I have been waiting for my whole life."

Then Dong pulls away breathing heavily, and he smiled while looking into her eyes. "Xiao Bai, are you going to hold your breath every time I kiss you?" Feng Jiu immediately blushed and turned her head away, "No, I'm just ... caught off guard. I swear I'm not a bad kisser! It's your fault."

"Oh? Why is it my fault now?" Dong Hua replied with a smile, and he leaned back on his seat. "Who told you to kiss me all of a sudden? I wasn't prepared at all!" Feng Jiu pouted and folded her arms across her chest.

Dong Hua glanced over to Feng Jiu and frowned. "It's my fault, Xiao Bai. I couldn't resist kissing you, but next time I'll ask you for permission before doing so." He replied softly.

Feng Jiu immediately bowed her head and replied shyly, "Next time...? Isn't it awkward if you asked me for permission before kissing me?"

At this moment, they were hit by the glare from the high beams of a car coming up behind them. Then the car turned off the high beams and parked behind them.

Feng Jiu squinted her eyes, trying to see who it was, and it turns out to be Lian Song and Cheng Yu. "Wait, what are they doing here?!" She exclaimed shockingly.

"For the same reason, stargazing." Dong Hua shook his head. Feng Jiu chuckled and replied, "Should we head back now and give them some privacy?"

Before Dong Hua could answer her, Lian Song got off the car and ran towards them. "Fancy meeting you two here." He raised his eyebrows.

"We are heading back now." Dong Hua replied coldly. Lian Song smirked and replied sarcastically, "So fast? The night is still young, and it's a beautiful night. The front desk staff at the resort told us that this is the best place for stargazing. I thought it would be crowded, but it turns out it's only us here."

Feng Jiu immediately replied, "Don't you want to spend some alone time with Cheng Yu? It's better if we leave so you guys can have some privacy."

Lian Song raised his eyebrows and replied sarcastically, "Privacy? Who needs it more?"

Dong Hua cleared his throat and replied coldly, "Lian Song, I think it's better if you don't open your mouth. There's a lot of bugs flying around here, and one could get into your mouth."

"Bugs? I don't see any." Lian Song looked around with a puzzled look.

Feng Jiu chuckled and replied, "Yeah, you should use your mouth for better things than spewing nonsense."

Lian Song scratched his head and replied, "For better things? Like what?"

"Don't keep Cheng Yu waiting. Enjoy your night, and we will be leaving now." Feng Jiu smirked at Lian Song, and she waved goodbye to Cheng Yu.

"OH! I know! Are you hinting me to kiss Cheng Yu?!" Lian Song exclaimed. Feng Jiu blushed upon hearing the word 'kiss' and she was reminded of her kiss with Dong Hua earlier on.

Lian Song immediately noticed her blushing, and he smirked at them. "Wait. Why is your face so red?"

"Nothing, let's go." Feng Jiu quickly said to Dong Hua. Both of them then strapped their seatbelts on, and Dong Hua told Lian Song to stand aside before reversing his car.

Lian Song then waved them goodbye and quickly ran back to his car. "I think they kissed." He said to Cheng Yu.

"What?! How did you know?!" Cheng Yu exclaimed. "Sixth sense. I just know." Lian Song replied proudly. He still firmly believed that Feng Jiu was pregnant with Dong Hua's child, and they were just hiding it.

Cheng Yu shook her head and replied, "You and your assumptions again. They look like they were just having a good time stargazing."

"Trust me, you'll know in a few months. Oh yeah, we are here for stargazing. Maybe we could kiss too?" Lian Song raised his eyebrows and replied shamelessly.

"Shut up and watch the stars." Cheng Yu rolled her eyes. But deep inside, she was actually open to the idea of them kissing. She realized the changes in Lian Song recently, and she was slowly letting him walk into her heart.

"Yes, Mdm!" Lian Song replied cheerfully. Then they both got out of the car and looked up at the sky.

On the drive back to the resort, Dong Hua and Feng Jiu had a lot of fun talking and laughing. Both of them avoid mentioning the kiss since they were both feeling shy about it.

Dong Hua then walked Feng Jiu back to her room and said to her lovingly, "I'll see you tomorrow morning, Xiao Bai. Thank you for the surprise. I had a great time."

Feng Jiu blushed and replied shyly, "Me too. It was a fun day for me as well. Quickly head back to your room and rest." Then she gently pushed him to leave, and she quickly went back into her room.

After seeing the door close, Dong Hua smiled to himself and slowly walked back to his room. All of a sudden, he remembered something. "Wait. I missed my chance to ask Xiao Bai to be my girlfriend officially." Then he frowned and consoled himself, "It's okay. I will ask her out another time."

On the other hand, Feng Jiu also couldn't stop smiling to herself, and Cha Cha noticed it. "You're full of smiles, what happened during your date?" Cha Cha asked.

"Oh, we just went stargazing. I want to take a shower now." Feng Jiu immediately grabbed her sleeping clothes and ran towards the bathroom. She didn't want to tell anyone about the kiss now since she found it hard to believe that it was real too.

Feng Jiu filled up the bathtub and soaked in it while thinking about the kiss. She gently touched her lips and closed her eyes. "Dong Hua kissed me. Is it real, or am I dreaming? His lips feel so soft, and I remembered smelling the sandalwood scent from his car despite trying to hold my breath."

Then she pinched her nose and went under the water, trying to clear her thoughts. After a while, she surfaced to catch her breath. "Holding my breath just reminds me of the kiss." Then she shook her head and splashed her face with water. "Cheng Yu said that actions speak louder than words. So... Dong Hua's actions definitely show that he has feelings for me. But why didn't he ask me to be his girlfriend? Oh well. He's bad at dating, and maybe he just didn't know how to ask? Hmm... I guess I could ask him out after the competition? I mean, it's 21st century now, and girls can take the initiative too."

Feng Jiu continued thinking of different ways to confess to Dong Hua, and she started blowing bubbles in the water. "I know how to ask Dong Hua out! If I won the competition, I'd invite Dong Hua to come with me to Europe. I'll use my prize money to pay for his trip, and I'll also invite Cheng Yu so that Cha Cha won't be left out. I could even extend my trip to spend more alone time with Dong Hua! It's settled then!"

Then she quickly finished up with her bath after noticing her skin was getting all wrinkly from soaking in the water for too long.

That night, Feng Jiu and Dong Hua slept really well, and they both smiled themselves to sleep. "We finally kissed. A proper kiss."

The next morning, everyone got up really early to prepare for Si Ming and Yu Xi's wedding. The three girls brought all their stuff for the wedding to Yu Xi's room while Si Ming went to Lian Song's room.

"I feel so nervous and excited at the same time! I couldn't even sleep well last night." Yu Xi said. Feng Jiu smiled and replied, "I would feel the same way if I was the one getting married! Si Ming would definitely be more nervous than you, especially after seeing you in your wedding dress."

Cheng Yu nodded her head and replied, "I agree. You look so beautiful! I just need to help you fix some hair accessories, and you're good to go!"

Cha Cha then took out Yu Xi's wedding dress and their own dresses. Suddenly, she noticed that there was a slight tear on the side of Cheng Yu's dress. They panicked a little since it was almost time for them to head over to the venue first.

"I'll head back to our room and change into something else. Don't worry, I still have another dress, but it won't look as good as this." Then Cheng Yu ran back to their own room. After Cheng Yu left, Lian Song came to check on the girls to see if they needed help.

"Good morning, girls. It's almost time, and we will be heading over to the venue soon." Lian Song smiled. Feng Jiu shook her head and replied worriedly, "Cheng Yu doesn't have a dress to wear. Her dress was slightly torn." Then she held up Cheng Yu's dress to show Lian Song where the tear was.

"Leave it to me. Don't worry about it; I know what to do." Lian Song replied maturely. Then he took the dress and swiftly took off towards his room.

"Would Cheng Yu be okay?" Cha Cha asked worriedly. Feng Jiu nodded her head and replied, "I trust that Lian Song could handle it. We don't have time to worry about that now since we still have to help Yu Xi. I'll check up on Cheng Yu after we are done here." Then they continue to get busy with all the preparations.

Meanwhile, Lian Song took out a sewing kit that he prepared for the wedding. Si Ming looked at him with a puzzled look and asked confusedly, "What are you doing? Why do you have a sewing kit?"

"I just brought it along, in case of any emergencies. I'm sewing Cheng Yu's dress, as it has a slight tear on the side." Lian Song replied. Then he put the thread through the needle and started sewing.

"I never knew that you could sew." Si Ming replied. Lian Song smiled and replied shyly, "Well, I learned it in boys scout before we met each other. I felt embarrassed, so I didn't tell anyone about it."

"Wow, I'm certainly impressed. I guess you could put it to good use now. Cheng Yu would be so touched after knowing that you mended her dress."

Lian Song then did a good sewing job and promptly headed towards Cheng Yu's room.

"Cheng Yu! It's me, Lian Song." He knocked on her door.

Cheng Yu opened the door and replied, "What are you doing here?" Then she noticed him holding on to her dress. "Wait. Why is my dress with you?"

"Don't ask so much and get changed into it. We need to leave soon." Lian Song replied calmly.

"My dress is slightly torn, so I can't wear it." Cheng Yu shook her head.

"I fixed it. Quickly get changed now." Lian Song rushed her again, and he gently pushed her towards the bathroom.

Cheng Yu looked at the dress and realized that it was mended. She quickly changed into it and walked out of the bathroom.

"You sew this?" She asked Lian Song confusedly.

"Yes, I did. Should we leave now?" Lian Song replied casually. Cheng Yu smiled and replied excitedly, "Wow! I didn't know that you can sew."

"Are you impressed?" Lian Song raised his eyebrows and asked teasingly.

"I am." Then she smiled sweetly at Lian Song, and his heart skipped a beat. "Cheng Yu smiled at me." He thought to himself. Then he smiled back sweetly and held out his arm, "Shall we go now?"

Cheng Yu nodded her head and held onto his arm with a pounding heart. "I'm really impressed with Lian Song nowadays."

Then they both headed towards Yu Xi's room.

Everyone then headed towards the venue wedding except Yu Xi. Once the wedding ceremony starts, she would walk down the aisle. Usually, the bride's father would walk her down the aisle, but her parents refused to attend the wedding.

Dong Hua was one of the first to arrive at the wedding venue, and Feng Jiu immediately smiled sweetly at him. "Did you sleep well, Dong Hua?"

"I slept so well, and I even overslept." He smiled. Feng Jiu then replied excitedly, "Sit here! I saved a good spot in the front row for you." Then she gently patted the chair beside her.

Shortly after, Su Moye, Chong Lin, and Chong Lin's girlfriend arrived. Meng Shao, Jie Lu, and Xiao Yan also came after them.

Feng Jiu then looked around, trying to see if Yu Xi's parents would turn up for the wedding. Dong Hua noticed her frowning and asked curiously, "What's wrong, Xiao Bai? You looked upset."

"I just feel a little sad that Yu Xi's parents didn't turn up today." She replied softly.

"Just wait a little while, I'm sure they would come." Dong Hua replied calmly, and he patted her head gently.

Right at this moment, the wedding ceremony started. Lian Song then sat down beside Cheng Yu and Su Moye while they waited for the bride to walk down the aisle. Si Ming stood nervously at the front, and he couldn't wait to catch a glimpse of his future wife in her beautiful wedding dress.

The wedding song started playing, and everyone stood up and turned their backs to look at the bride. They started clapping as she began to walk down the aisle, and Si Ming couldn't stop smiling while looking at Yu Xi. "My beautiful wife." He thought to himself.

"Wait." 

All of a sudden, a man's voice emerged from behind. Yu Xi turned around, and she broke down when she saw her parents standing behind her.

"You guys came!" She wailed. Yu Xi's mom immediately hugged her and said lovingly, "Don't cry, my daughter. A bride should be happy on her wedding day."

Yu Xi's dad then replied sternly, "A bride's father should be walking her down the aisle." Then he held out his arm, and Yu Xi immediately holds onto it.

Everyone's hearts melted upon seeing such a heartwarming scene, and they started clapping. Lian Song was trying his hardest not to cry. Feng Jiu shed a tear and said to Dong Hua, "I'm so glad that her parents are here!"

Then the wedding song started playing again, and Yu Xi's dad walked her down the aisle and handed her to Si Ming. "I'm handing my beloved daughter to you now. I hope you won't ever hurt her or make her cry. If not, I'll definitely take her back from you."

"Yes, Chairman Fan. Thank you so much for coming. It means a lot to both of us." Si Ming bowed, and he had teary eyes.

"You're still calling me Chairman Fan? You should be calling me dad now."

"Yes, dad! Please take a seat there." Si Ming bowed again and pointed towards the two 'VIP' seats on the first row.

After Yu Xi's parents settled down, Chairman Fan turned over to Dong Hua and greeted him with a nod. Then they smiled politely at each other.

"How did you know that her parents would come?" Feng Jiu asked Dong Hua curiously.

"Well. I talked to them a few days ago." Dong Hua smiled.

"What did you say?! How did you convince them?!" Feng Jiu replied excitedly. Dong Hua then held up his finger to his lips and replied softly, "I'll tell you later. Let's focus on the wedding ceremony now."

"Okay! Tell me about it when we are driving back home then!" Feng Jiu smiled brightly.

The marriage officiant stood in front and started the wedding ceremony. Si Ming and Yu Xi then exchanged their wedding vows.

During the exchanging of vows, Lian Song started to feel emotional, and he looked like he was going to cry. Su Moye leaned in and reminded him, "No crying. You're supposed to show Cheng Yu your manly side."

Lian Song immediately cleared his throat and replied firmly, "Nobody is crying. I'm a man." Then he tried his hardest to hold back his tears.

Then Si Ming made a speech and thanked everyone who helped them get married. He specially thanked Lian Song for being by his side all these years and for his endless support throughout everything. At this point, Lian Song could no longer hold back his tears.

Lian Song started shedding tears, and Su Moye immediately passed him his handkerchief. "Quickly wipe your tears away, don't let Cheng Yu see this." He whispered to Lian Song.

"I can't help it. I feel so touched that my best brother is getting married." Then he gently blew his nose into the handkerchief.

Cheng Yu glanced at Lian Song crying, and she thought to herself, "It's kinda cute that he has this soft side of him." Then she smiled to herself and continued to focus on the wedding ceremony.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. Congratulations, you may kiss the bride now." The marriage officiant said.

Everyone stood up and started clapping while Si Ming kissed Yu Xi. Feng Jiu smiled happily and said to Dong Hua, "Everything went so well! I'm so happy for them! I'm getting hungry, and I can't wait to eat."

Dong Hua chuckled and patted her head gently, "No food can escape your clutches, Xiao Bai. If one day you got married, the whole aisle would be lined up with food. Just like gingerbread man's house, even the chairs and tables are made out of candies."

"That actually sounds like a good idea." Feng Jiu laughed out loud.

Lian Song then picked up the microphone and told everyone to head into the resort's restaurant for a wedding lunch reception. "Everyone, please head to the VIP room one, and food will be served shortly."

Before the lunch reception ended, they decided to throw the bouquet. Throwing the bouquet is a well-known tradition at weddings. All the unmarried ladies form a line and try their luck at catching the bouquet. There was a belief that whoever caught it would be next in line to get married.

Everyone headed outside of the restaurant and stood at an open space. All the girls stood in line, and Lian Song sneakily stood behind them.

Cheng Yu turned over and cringed. "What you trying to do? It's for the ladies."

"It doesn't matter! At least we have a better chance of catching the bouquet!" Lian Song replied proudly.

Cheng Yu rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Suits yourself."

Then Yu Xi prepared to toss the bouquet. "Are you girls ready? I'll throw it at the count of three!" Then she turned around, counted to three, and threw the bouquet.

"Congrats, Feng Jiu! You caught the bouquet!" Cheng Yu patted Feng Jiu's shoulder.

At this point, Feng Jiu was still in shock since she didn't even try to catch it, and it just landed in her hands. "What? I caught the bouquet? I'm getting married next?!" She thought to herself shockingly.

The Tea Trio stood together, and they smirked at Dong Hua. Lian Song then said sarcastically, "I'm not surprised. It's better to get married soon before your stomach starts showing."

Si Ming immediately slapped Lian Song's arm and said, "We are not supposed to tell everyone about her pregnancy." Then he quickly covered his mouth upon realizing that everyone heard them.

Su Moye stood there and shook his head in disbelief. "These two... I forgot to tell them that Feng Jiu wasn't pregnant."

Cheng Yu immediately turned to Feng Jiu and exclaimed shockingly, "What?! You're pregnant?! Who's the father?! Why didn't you tell us anything?!"

"Who else?" Lian Song replied, and he looked over at Dong Hua.

Dong Hua didn't show any reaction, but deep inside, he was feeling a little nervous. "What would Xiao Bai say to them? Would she admit that I'm the father of her food baby?"

Feng Jiu immediately shook her head vigorously and replied nervously, "No, no! I'm not pregnant. It was a huge misunderstanding, and people were spreading false rumours in the company. So we went to the shopping mall to get some baby stuff for Yu Xi, and someone saw us there."

Dong Hua then noticed Feng Jiu was flustered, and he replied calmly, "We still need to pass the wedding gifts to the married couple. It's in your room, right? We should go get it and pass it to them now." Then he gently dragged Feng Jiu away from the awkward situation.

Everyone else stood there and looked at each other. Then they laughed out loud, and Su Moye said, "Well, Feng Jiu caught the bouquet. Maybe the false rumours would become a reality soon." Then they all headed back into the restaurant and continued the wedding reception.

Feng Jiu and Dong Hua slowly walked back to her room. She stared at the bouquet, and she said to Dong Hua, "I'm sorry for dragging you into such an awkward situation."

"Xiao Bai, you don't have to apologize to me. I don't care about how people think. We already discussed it, didn't we?" Dong Hua replied lovingly, and he patted her head gently to reassure her.

"That's true. If you don't care about what others think, I won't care about it too!" She smiled.

"Good. Don't worry about the small misunderstanding. Let's grab the wedding gifts and head back." Dong Hua replied.

After they got the wedding gifts, they swiftly headed back to the restaurant to join the rest. Nobody mentioned about the bouquet and pregnancy rumours since they didn't want to make it awkward again.

Two hours later, the wedding reception finally ended, and everyone was preparing to leave. Si Ming has a few days off from work, and he would be staying another night with Yu Xi.

Cheng Yu, Cha Cha, and Feng Jiu headed back to their room and started packing up. Then they headed to the lobby area, and Lian Song handled their check out process.

After everyone was done with checking out, Cheng Yu and Cha Cha headed back home with Lian Song. Feng Jiu then bid them goodbye and went into Dong Hua's car.

"Check that you have everything, Xiao Bai." Dong Hua said to her before driving off. Feng Jiu quickly checked her belongings and replied, "All good! Let's go now! It's been a long time since we have a long car trip together. Do you still remember the time we got caught in the jam while going to Zhi Yue Art Gallery?"

Dong Hua chuckled and replied sarcastically, "Of course I would remember that. You tried to extort me for more food back then."

Feng Jiu pouted and replied, "Too bad! You owe me food for a lifetime now."

"Yes, yes. I owe my life to you now." Dong Hua smiled.

Feng Jiu blushed and replied, "I don't want your life; I want food."

"Oh? But you said that if I die, you won't have food too." Dong Hua teased her.

"Fine. I want you too." Feng Jiu immediately replied without thinking.

Their hearts started pounding heavily, and they thought to themselves, "Does this count as a confession...?"

Feng Jiu then tried to break the awkward silence and asked, "Oh yeah, you said that you'd tell me about Yu Xi's parents."

"Oh. So, I met them at a meeting a few days ago. I merely told them that if they didn't support their daughter's marriage, they would lose a daughter. But if they supported it, they would gain a son as well. I also put in a few good words for Si Ming." Dong Hua replied casually.

"What?! You spoke up for Si Ming? That's not something you would do in the past." Feng Jiu replied shockingly.

"But that's what Xiao Bai would do, right?" Dong Hua briefly glanced at Feng Jiu, and he smiled.

"Yes, I would do that. But... what's the link?" She replied confusedly.

"I learned how to become a better person like you, Xiao Bai. You also make me want to become a better person." Dong Hua replied lovingly.

Feng Jiu thought to herself, "Dong Hua is changing himself for me...?" Then she replied shyly, "I like the new you. I'm really happy that you spoke up for Si Ming!"

"I actually do feel happy as well, especially after seeing Yu Xi's parents at the wedding." Dong Hua replied.

Then they smiled at each other and continued talking happily throughout the whole journey back home.

"Everything went so well on this trip! We even kissed!"
