Feng Jiu then bumped into Lian Song when she walked out of the elevator. Lian Song was about to head into his office, but he stopped in his tracks to 'harvest some tea leaves.' In fact, he had already seen the picture of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu feeding each other.

"So... How was your weekend? And what happened after you left the hotpot restaurant?" Lian Song smirked at Feng Jiu.

Feng Jiu smiled happily, and she had her guards down since she was in high spirits. "Oh. Dong Hua got drunk, and I stayed behind to take care of him!"

"You stayed overnight at Dong Hua's place?!" Lian Song exclaimed.

Feng Jiu chuckled and replied casually, "Yeah. It's not my first time staying over anyway."

"Oh, it's nothing. It was just due to bad weather. So, any progress between you and Cheng Yu?" Feng Jiu replied casually, and then she tried to divert the attention away from the topic.

"Oh! Of course not. She's still really cold to me, and I think I need to learn from you. You could even melt Dong Hua's coldness." Lian Song smiled.

Feng Jiu proudly thought to herself, "That's true! Dong Hua said he's only warm towards me." Then she replied confidently, "Guess I could teach you some. Maybe try cooking something nice for her. As the saying goes, 'The Way to Someone's Heart is Through Their Stomach.' Wait, nevermind, you can't cook too."

Lian Song pondered for a while before replying, "Maybe I could learn how to cook? What should I cook for her?"

Feng Jiu laughed out loud and replied sarcastically, "Her favourite food is actually that same dish that you're most afraid of. Sweet and Sour Fish."

Lian Song immediately shivered upon hearing about that deadly fish, and he replied nervously, "So, you think it would work if I managed to learn how to cook Sweet and Sour Fish...?"

"Of course! If Dong Hua could learn how to cook it from me, I'm sure you'll be able to learn it too." Feng Jiu replied proudly.

At this point, Feng Jiu totally forgot that Lian Song is a big gossiper, and she's publicly admitting to others that she's close to Dong Hua. It's as if she wasn't afraid of others knowing about their relationship anymore.

Lian Song was shocked to hear Feng Jiu openly admitting that she's close to Dong Hua. "What? Something definitely happened between these two over the weekend. Feng Jiu is acting so differently. Usually, she's reserved and secretive. Too bad, my Si Ming is not here to help me out. Should I seek Su Moye's help?" He thought to himself.

At this moment, Dong Hua walked out of the elevator, and he spotted them. Feng Jiu immediately smiled warmly at Dong Hua and greeted him.

"GOOD morning, huh?" Lian Song smirked and raised his eyebrows at Dong Hua. Dong Hua gave a half-smile and replied sarcastically, "Your Si Ming is on two weeks urgent leave, would you like two weeks unpaid leave to accompany him?"

"Oh, I'm so busy today. Can't afford to take leave at such a crucial period." Lian Song immediately bowed and ran back to his office.

After Lian Song left, Dong Hua smiled sweetly at Feng Jiu. "Did you sleep well, Xiao Bai?"

"I did! I actually dreamt of you too!" Feng Jiu smiled, and she walked towards their office. Dong Hua then followed suit.

"Xiao Bai dreamt of me?!" Dong Hua thought to himself, and he replied calmly, "Oh? What did you dream of?"

Feng Jiu then unpacked her stuff and replied casually, "I dreamt that you brought me to a buffet, and we ate non-stop! I felt a little upset when I woke up and realized that it was just a dream." She pouted.

"Silly Xiao Bai. Your dream could easily come true. Pick a day, and we can go to a buffet." Dong Hua smiled.

"Oh! I know! If I get into the second round of the competition, we could go to a buffet to celebrate!" Feng Jiu replied excitedly.

Dong Hua shook his head and replied sarcastically, "Only food could make you this happy."

Feng Jiu then smiled and replied shyly, "You make me happy too." Then she quickly bowed her head into her bag and avoided eye-contact.

Dong Hua's heart instantly melted, and he thought to himself, "Did Xiao Bai just said that I make her happy too? She seems a little different after we spend the weekend together. Is she accepting me into her heart now?" Then he smiled and replied softly, "Only you could make me this happy too, Xiao Bai."

Then their faces flushed, and they pretended to be busy at work. "There's so much to do today." Dong Hua said. Feng Jiu also nodded her head and replied, "Yes, I need to finalize my design draft too. It's due in about a week."

Both of them then started their day at work.

During lunch-time, Dong Hua told Feng Jiu that he had to attend a meeting so she could head to lunch without him. Since she was also feeling lazy, she told Chong Lin to bring her lunch bento up to the office.

At the same time, Ji Heng was eating alone in her office when she overheard a few girls gossiping about Feng Jiu and Dong Hua. She crept towards the door and tried to eavesdrop. "See this picture of Ice Monk and Top Beauty FJ. They are even feeding each other! I'm sure they are dating. No wonder she got transferred to his personal office." One girl said.

Ji Heng squinted her eyes and tried to peek at their computer screen. She slowly walked out of her office and crept up behind them so she could see better. Her heart sank the moment she saw the picture of them feeding each other. "What? Are they really dating? I need to ruin their relationship, and I can't allow this to go on." She bitterly thought to herself. Then she walked back to her office before the girls noticed her standing behind them.

Ji Heng sat down and started plotting against Feng Jiu. "I need to start gathering 'evidence' that Feng Jiu is 'cheating' on Dong Hua. If I stalked her, maybe I'll be able to take videos of her with another guy. Hopefully, it's Su Moye so that Dong Hua would feel threatened. Xiao Yan is pretty much useless to me now since everyone knew about him dating Jie Lu."

"Wow! You guys became best friends after the hotpot celebration, huh?" Feng Jiu chuckled. Su Moye nodded his head and replied, "We found out that we have a lot in common. Your friends are really nice as well. We had a lot of fun after you and Dong Hua left. So... How was it? Any progress?"

Feng Jiu smiled brightly and replied excitedly, "I think you may be right about Dong Hua having special feelings for me! Well... We did have some progress, and Dong Hua even said that he likes me. But he didn't confess to me directly, so I'm not sure if we are dating or not. I can't possibly ask him about it, right? Oh yeah, he also said that he was jealous of you, and I was shocked. Maybe we need to put aside that plan to make him jealous since it made him upset." Her smile quickly turned into a frown.

Upon noticing that Su Moye sounded sad, Feng Jiu frowned and replied, "I'm sorry if I reminded you of your past again. But I actually plan to ask Dong Hua about it after the competition. I can't afford any distractions before that. It would be awkward if I asked him about it now since I'll be seeing him almost every day." Then she patted his shoulder gently to console him.

Right at this moment, the elevator's door opened, and Dong Hua saw her touching Su Moye's shoulder. "What? Why is Su Moye here? Why is Xiao Bai so close to him again?" He thought to himself.

Feng Jiu turned back, and she saw Dong Hua. She immediately put her hand down and smiled at Dong Hua. "Oh! You're back from your meeting. I heard from Su Moye that you'd be having another meeting with him later on." She said.

"Yes." Dong Hua replied coldly, and he continued his way into his office after greeting Su Moye with a nod. Su Moye immediately whispered to Feng Jiu, "Get going now. If not, Dong Hua would be jealous again." Then he smiled warmly and headed towards Lian Song's office.

Feng Jiu immediately ran after Dong Hua into the office. "Are you hungry, Dong Hua? I can get you some food if you are." Feng Jiu asked.

"Not really." Dong Hua replied coldly without looking at Feng Jiu. She immediately smiled and thought to herself, "Dong Hua didn't eat anything since morning, so I'm sure he's hungry. I'll head down to the Cafeteria to buy him some food then. He is going to have a meeting soon, and I don't want him to go on an empty stomach." Then she replied casually, "Oh, I see. I'll be heading out for a while."

Dong Hua briefly looked up and asked calmly, "Where are you going?"

"Somewhere." Then she immediately ran out of the office. Dong Hua instantly stood up and walked towards the door after she left. "Where is she going?" He slowly opened the door and peeked out with his squinting eyes like an owl.

Then he noticed Feng Jiu walking towards the elevator with a huge smile on her face. "Is she meeting Su Moye?"

Dong Hua then walked out of his office and went towards the elevator after he saw her enter it. He paced up and down while looking at the elevator going down to the ground level. "Should I head downstairs?" Dong Hua pondered. Then he pressed the elevator button and took the next one down to the ground level as well.

After he walked out of the elevator, he looked around to see where Feng Jiu was going. He casually asked the security guard, "Did you see Feng Jiu, my personal assistant?"

The security guard immediately bowed and pointed towards the Cafeteria, "I saw Miss Feng Jiu went towards that direction." Dong Hua then smiled and replied, "Thank you. Keep up the good work. You'll receive a bonus this year." After that, he headed towards the Cafeteria.

The guard furrowed his brows and thought to himself, "Keep up the good work? What did I do? Oh... It's because of Mrs Tai Chen. Wow, a bonus." Then he nodded his head to agree that he indeed did an excellent job. "I knew I was good." After that, he immediately logged onto the forum and posted about what just happened.

On the other hand, Dong Hua walked over and stood behind Feng Jiu upon noticing her in the queue. "Oh? Glutton is hungry again?" He whispered sarcastically.

Feng Jiu immediately turned around and smiled warmly, "Dong Hua! What are you doing here?! Are you feeling hungry now?"

"No. I'm here to check up on you. Slacking during work hours again, huh?" Dong Hua smirked.

"Hmph! I know why you're here." Feng Jiu smirked and replied proudly. She thought to herself, "Dong Hua is still a bad liar. I knew that he was hungry! This is why I came down to get him some food."

Dong Hua immediately thought to himself, "Wow, Xiao Bai actually knew what I'm thinking? I can't let her know I'm jealous." Then he cleared his throat and replied calmly, "I was just feeling a little hungry."

"Let's get some food now then!" Feng Jiu replied excitedly.

Feng Jiu then ordered a lunch bento for Dong Hua and mango pudding for herself. "Let's head back to our office to eat. I feel like everyone is staring at us here..." Feng Jiu frowned.

"Don't worry about it, Xiao Bai. Let them stare since we are not doing anything wrong. Unless you don't like to be seen with me in public." Dong Hua smiled, and he also thought to himself, "Good. I like it that everyone is staring at us now. Now everyone will know Xiao Bai belongs to me."

Dong Hua replied sarcastically, "Can't wait to spend some alone time with me?" Then he leaned closer towards Feng Jiu. She immediately felt nervous and replied softly, "No... I just don't feel comfortable when everyone was staring at us like that."

Dong Hua immediately softened his tone and replied lovingly, "If you don't like that, I could send a warning out to everyone and make them stop staring at you." Feng Jiu smiled warmly, "It's okay, Dong Hua! You don't have to do that for me."

The elevator then arrived at their floor, and Feng Jiu happily ran out towards their office. Feng Jiu sat down at the sofa and exclaimed, "I feel better now that it's just the two of us!" Dong Hua smiled warmly and sat down beside her.

"Xiao Bai, are you sure that mango pudding would be enough for you? Why didn't you buy more desserts for yourself?"

Feng Jiu then leaned in towards Dong Hua. "Actually... I went down to buy food for you. I already ate lunch." Dong Hua widened his eyes and thought to himself, "Xiao Bai is so sweet to me. I shouldn't have doubted her. I even thought she went to meet Su Moye." Then he replied softly, "You went down just to buy food for me... I thought... Nevermind. You're the best, Xiao Bai. I'll start eating now."

"Thought what?" Feng Jiu asked curiously.

"Nothing." Dong Hua avoided eye-contact. He also felt a little guilty for feeling jealous and doubting Feng Jiu.

She thought to herself, "Oh? I think Dong Hua is jealous. He must be thinking that I went to meet Su Moye. It's my chance to tease him then." Feng Jiu then leaned in closer and smirked, "I know what you're thinking. You thought I went to meet Su Moye, right?"

Dong Hua almost choked on his rice, and he nervously thought to himself, "What? How did Xiao Bai know that? Was I too obvious?" Then he swallowed his food and replied calmly, "No. Why would I think that way?"

Feng Jiu then leaned back against the sofa and folded her arms across her chest. "Oh? I thought you were jealous of him again."

Dong Hua sipped on his drink and tried to hide his jealousy. "No. Why would I be jealous? You said that he's your friend, so there's no reason for me to be jealous."

"Oh. Since you're not jealous, I'll go look for Su Moye now." Feng Jiu replied casually. Then she stood up and began walking towards the door.

"Xiao Bai..." Dong Hua said in a soft voice. Then he bowed his head and replied softly, "Fine. I was feeling jealous. Just a little though."

Feng Jiu smiled to herself while she had her back facing Dong Hua. She thought to herself, "Dong Hua is so cute when he's jealous. I guess I really do mean something to him." Then she wiped off the smile on her face and turned around. "Just a little?" She asked sternly.

Dong Hua stole a quick glance at Feng Jiu and quickly bowed his head again. Then he took a deep breath and replied softly, "A lot."

Feng Jiu felt her heart pounding, and she tried to hold back from smiling upon hearing that. Then she squinted her eyes and folded her arms again. "So, you admit that you're jealous of him."

Dong Hua frowned and replied, "Yes, Xiao Bai. I don't know why I'm feeling this way, and I can't help but feel this way at times. I miss you whenever you're not around me, and I'm always worried that someone else would replace me in your heart."

Feng Jiu then smiled widely and replied lovingly, "Dong Hua, that won't ever happen. We are family, and family is the most important to me. But I understand why you felt that way." Then she bowed her head and blushed.

Dong Hua then smiled brightly and replied, "You do? I'm sorry, Xiao Bai. I'm still learning how to control and handle my emotions. It's hard for me since I don't really feel any emotions until I met you."

Feng Jiu then touched Dong Hua's arm and replied lovingly, "It's okay, Dong Hua. You can slowly learn how to overcome your past, and I'll be here to help you out along the way too. I'll protect you!"

"How did I get so lucky to meet you?" Dong Hua replied.

Feng Jiu smiled proudly and replied, "Well... I guess you must have done a lot of good deeds in your past life! Anyone would be lucky to meet me!" Then she giggled.

Dong Hua patted her head gently, and they smiled warmly at each other. Then they went back to their desks and continued working. After a while, Dong Hua also left the office to attend a meeting with Su Moye and the managers.

Su Moye then slammed one hand into the wall next to Lian Song and pushed him towards the wall.

"The close proximity is enough to make Feng Jiu feel shy and excited. To make it more intimate, Dong Hua could whisper sweet nothings." Su Moye said.

"Oh? Should I start acting as Feng Jiu now? I usually act as Dong Hua when I'm role-playing with Si Ming." Lian Song asked curiously.

"Yes. Okay, I'll start it off." Su Moye said. Then he cleared his throat and said coldly, "Feng Jiu, you look so beautiful, and I can't keep my eyes off you."

Lian Song immediately got into his role and replied with a soft and sweet voice, "Oh, Dong Hua! You're so sweet! I can't keep my eyes off your handsome face too."

"Close your eyes so that I could kiss you." Su Moye replied with a charisma smile.

Lian Song pondered for a while and replied excitedly, "I think I get it now! So when they are stuck in this situation, they would probably kiss. Even better... They might 'cook the raw rice.'" Then he smirked and raised his eyebrows at Su Moye.
