The next morning, Ji Heng waited for Dong Hua to arrive at the office building. She knew that Dong Hua would arrive an hour earlier than most people since he hated the crowd. Although she wanted everyone to see her approach Dong Hua, she knew that she only needed the security guard to see them together, and the rumours will start.

After waiting for 15 minutes, Dong Hua walked into the building. Ji Heng immediately adjusted her low-cut dress and ran past Dong Hua. Then she dropped her files right in front of him. Ji Heng then swiftly turned around and bent down to pick the files up, trying to reveal her cleavage to Dong Hua.

Dong Hua didn't even look at Ji Heng. Then he moved away and continued his way, but Ji Heng called out to him. She greeted him good morning and tried to start a conversation about her dad. "My dad's death anniversary is coming up soon. Do you want to go with me to pay a visit to his grave?" She asked politely.

Dong Hua stopped in his tracks and replied coldly, "I won't forget his death anniversary, and I had already ordered some flowers to send it to his grave directly." Then he walked away.

Ji Heng then looked around, and she noticed the guard was already staring at them. Then she ran up towards Dong Hua and pretended to lose her balance. She grabbed onto his arm, and he intensively stared at her with his cold and stern eyes. "Do not touch me." He said sternly.

Ji Heng immediately felt scared, and she instantly took a step back and apologized. "I'm sorry I lost my balance."

Dong Hua then replied coldly, "I need to make a new rule in the company that female employees would have to dress up appropriately for work." Then he walked away and went up to his office.

The security guard, who was still staring at them, saw everything that had happened. But he was standing really far away, so he didn't hear their conversation.

The guard immediately took out his phone and posted it on the forum.

GuardsSeizeThem123: I just saw Ice Monk (Dong Hua) and Chao Ji Hen (Ji Heng) together, in the building lobby. She even held on to his arm!

The gossip duo also arrived early and bumped into each other at the car park, and they both checked the forum since they didn't have time to do so last night.

Lian Song was shocked to see the replies. "Wow. Just one night and so many things happened?! Xiao Yan and Feng Jiu went on a date? No way."

Si Ming then zoomed in on the picture and replied, "That's definitely Jie Lu. I remembered what she wore to work yesterday. These people really have nothing better to do, and they even photoshopped the picture."

Feng Jiu got out of the bus and slowly walked towards the office building since she was still pretty early. Out of nowhere, a car stopped right beside the pavement that she was walking on. Feng Jiu turned to look at the car, and the driver winded down his car window. "Oh, Feng Jiu, it's you again. Come hop onto my car, and I'll send you to work."

"Oh! Su Moye. What are you doing here? Oh, it's just a 5-minute walk, so it's fine, and I don't want to bother you." Feng Jiu replied with a polite smile.

"No worries. I'm heading to Tai Chen Group building too. Maybe you could also show me the way to the car park? It's my first time coming here." Su Moye replied politely. It was indeed his first time there, so he wasn't just using it as an excuse to get close to her. Most of their meetings in the past were held at West Group Sea.

Feng Jiu then pondered, "Hmm... I guess I should help him out then." Then she got onto Su Moye's car and replied, "Just take a left turn after the next junction, and you'll find the car park."

Then they both walked into work together. Everyone stared at them while they were walking into the building and waiting for the elevator. People then started to gossip among themselves, and a few also snapped a picture of them together.

Feng Jiu and Su Moye then walked into the elevator, and he pressed the button for the 48th floor while Feng Jiu pressed the button for the 28th-floor. Su Moye then turned towards Feng Jiu and said softly, "Oh, your office is on the 28th floor? I'll have to visit you after my meeting then. I'll be coming to Tai Chen Group more often from now onwards too."

Then he leaned in and whispered to her so that others wouldn't hear what he says. "Let me tell you a little secret; the competition would be held in Tai Chen Group. This is why I'll be coming here often."

Feng Jiu tip-toed and whispered back, "I knew it! A few days back, I saw some contractors coming into the company, and they headed towards the biggest ballroom in the building."

Then she came up with a new evil plan. Ji Heng wanted to snap a picture of Feng Jiu with Su Moye, and then she would 'accidentally' show it to Dong Hua whenever she gets the chance. She would also post it on the forum so that the employees would spread it around, and it would eventually reach Dong Hua too.

Then they arrived at the 28th floor, and they headed towards the Design Department's office. Everyone noticed the two presidents walking into the office, and they flocked to them, greeting them politely.

Su Moye was a people-person, and he had no problems dealing with crowds. He was smiling and having light-hearted conversations with everyone around him. On the other hand, Dong Hua was cold and distant. He stood aside and looked over to Feng Jiu, trying to see what she was up to.

Feng Jiu smiled brightly upon seeing Dong Hua. Then she thought to herself, "Oh no, Dong Hua must be having a mini panic attack again. There are too many people crowding around him." Then she quickly took out her phone and texted Dong Hua.

Feng Jiu: Want a cup of coffee? I'll meet you in the pantry!

Then she held up her phone and gestured Dong Hua to look at his phone. He instantly took out his phone and smiled upon seeing her message. Everyone else was shocked to see Dong Hua smiling for the first time. Dong Hua then wiped the smile off his face after noticing everyone staring at him. Then he said coldly to Su Moye, "I will meet you later. I need to get a cup of coffee."

"Sure. Go ahead. I'll take my time to get to know all of them better." Su Moye replied politely.

Dong Hua then slowly walked towards the pantry, and then he hastens his footsteps when he noticed nobody was looking at him. It seems like everyone was hovering all over Su Moye, and nobody paid attention to where Dong Hua and Feng Jiu went. Even Si Ming and his whole team were happily chatting with Su Moye.

"Boo!" Feng Jiu tried to scare Dong Hua when he walked into the pantry. Dong Hua immediately had a huge smile upon seeing her alone in the pantry. Then he replied, "Oh? Trying to scare me? What if I die of a heart attack?"

Feng Jiu smiled brightly and replied, "You're still young, and I'm sure your heart is still strong enough to handle that!" Then she turned around and started making a good cup of coffee for Dong Hua.

Dong Hua stood behind her, and he asked softly, "Xiao Bai. Did you come to work with Su Moye today?" Feng Jiu immediately turned around and replied, "Don't misunderstand. I just sat in his car because he was lost and needed my help."

It appeared that Feng Jiu was subconsciously worried about how Dong Hua would think about them. This also shows that she had actually started to accept Dong Hua in her heart again, so she didn't want him to misunderstand.

"Oh. So did you remember to put on your seatbelt this time?" Dong Hua tried to make it a joke while trying to hide his jealousy.

"Yeah, I did! You're my only auto seatbelt." She giggled and passed the cup of coffee to Dong Hua. Then he instantly felt better upon hearing what she just said.

"I miss your coffee." Dong Hua said after taking a sip of it.

"You look so tired. Did you not sleep well last night?" Feng Jiu asked worriedly.

"I'm too busy, Xiao Bai. After sending you home last night, I stayed up late doing more work." Dong Hua said.

Feng Jiu glowered at Dong Hua, "From now on, I need to make sure that you get enough rest too! Are you staying late tonight too?"

"I think so. I will be less busy once we completed the current project. The Art Exhibition at Zhi Yue Art Gallery would be opened to the public next week. When that happens, Cang Yi will manage it, and we won't be as busy anymore. For the next project with West Sea Group, Su Moye would be sharing the workload with me too."

"Hey, Feng Jiu. I said that I'd visit you after my meeting and I kept my words. Are you busy now?" Su Moye said.

Feng Jiu smiled brightly and replied, "Not really! I completed most of my work yesterday, so I have some free time today. So, how do you think of our offices? I have never been to West Sea Group."

"Your offices are beautiful, and ours can't be compared to it at all. Maybe next time you can visit me at West Sea Group. I'll be sure to bring you around since you helped me out today too." Su Moye replied with a polite smile on his face.

"Oh. So how often would you be coming over here?" Feng Jiu asked curiously. Su Moye shrugged his shoulder slightly and replied, "Hmm... Maybe once a week? I'm not sure too. How about you give me your phone number, and I can drop you a text message if I'm coming over? Don't worry; I won't text you unnecessarily since I'm busy at work too."

The moment Dong Hua stepped out of the pantry, he saw Su Moye hanging around Feng Jiu at her desk. He also saw Feng Jiu typing something on Su Moye's phone.

Dong Hua lost control of his emotions and thoughts instantly. "Why is Xiao Bai typing on his phone? Is she giving him her number? Does she like him too? She told me to wait here so that she could have alone time with Su Moye? I know I'm not good at talking, but... Nevermind..."

Then he walked past Feng Jiu's desk and continued his way out of the office. Dong Hua didn't want to face them at this time because he doesn't know how to do so. Feng Jiu noticed Dong Hua walking past her desk without acknowledging her existence, and she called out his name.

Dong Hua also ignored it and left the office. Feng Jiu then thought to herself, "Why is Dong Hua ignoring me now? Is he mad because he waited too long for me? Or is he just too busy?" She was feeling distracted, and she couldn't focus on the conversation with Su Moye.

"Are you okay, Feng Jiu?" Su Moye asked concernedly upon seeing her in a daze. Feng Jiu then snapped out of it and replied, "Oh, yeah. Sorry I was just thinking about some stuff. What were you saying?"

"Oh. I was just saying that I need to head back to West Sea Group now since I have a meeting later on. I'll text you if I'm coming back here. Have a good rest of the day." Su Moye smiled politely.

"Oh! Sure. Just send me a text message anytime." Feng Jiu stood up and walked Su Moye to the office's door.

Right at this moment, Ji Heng and a few colleagues noticed them walking together. Everyone quickly took out their phones and snapped a secret shot of them walking together.

Ji Heng managed to get a good picture of their faces, and they were smiling in it too. Then she thought to herself, "Luck is on my side. Now, everyone will see how close they are, and this time I won't lose again."

Dong Hua immediately read her message, but he didn't want to reply, because he was still sorting out his feelings and thoughts.

Dong Hua also didn't have any appetite to eat, and he kept thinking about what happened just now. "If Su Moye starts chasing Xiao Bai, I would definitely lose to him. I mean, I can't possibly confess to her too. Just look at what happened to Cang Yi. His biggest mistake is to rush things, and I know she hates that."

On the other side, Feng Jiu saw that Dong Hua read her message. She waited for 30 minutes, and Dong Hua still didn't reply back to her message.

She felt slightly worried and uneasy. "Is he just busy or he's ignoring me now? Maybe he's really mad? But how do I ask him about it? I know he probably won't tell me about it too. Should I send him another text?"

Then she continued doing work after she was done with her lunch. She also kept glancing over to her phone every now and then to see if Dong Hua replied back.

Feng Jiu then decided to send another text message to Dong Hua before she ended work. "I'm heading home now. Don't stay too late at work tonight."

Then she noticed that the message wasn't going through. "Did he block me? Why is it not going through? I think Dong Hua is really mad at me. What should I do now? I feel so lost." Feng Jiu couldn't understand why Dong Hua was suddenly cold to her.

After she got home, she also kept checking her phone to see if Dong Hua replied back to her. After dinner, she watched some TV and then she laid on her bed. She thought to herself, "Dong Hua is really ignoring me now. He always replies back to me quickly, but now it's been hours."

Feng Jiu then waited till 11 PM before she passed out on her bed in exhaustion.
