Arlo woke up in a hospital bed about three days later surrounded by people, none of which she was familiar with. Oh other than (LEGO) Batman, and Robin sorta.  Batman starts to argue with an old man "no I can't take in this kid, I already said, it wasn't my fault this time, and she seems old enough to live on their own". "This kid is 15 years old and I don't care that you didn't actively injure her, you are taking her in" the old man retaliated calmly "UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I DONT WANT TOOOOO" Batman whined "I ALREADY HAVE A SON WHY DO I NEED ANOTHER KIDDD". Arlo had come to her senses at this point, using all of the energy and power that she could muster, she croaked out a "what?". Robin gasped "DAD SHES SPEAKING" and from the corner of the room a woman in police uniform steps toward the hospital bed. Arlo wondered why she hadn't noticed her since the room was so bright. "Oh thank god, we thought you would never wake up, see we have-" Batman swiftly interrupted her "Barbara my dear pal nows not the time we have to get a doctor in here DOCTORRR". A group of medics came in to check and inform Arlo, but once again she was not paying attention, but she was rather looking at the group of people having a very loud argument that soon turned to angry beatboxing from Batman. Apparently she broke her arm and had a minor concussion and now has permanent leg scarring but whatever.

Once the medics left the woman named Barbara tried to approach Arlo again but once again Batman tried to stop her. "Why can't you just let me-" "ahhh butbutbut this may not be the time, why don't you think about other people's feelings for once HUH" "sHE HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW" . "I agree with mum!" Robin exclaimed "Don't call me that" Barbarq changed her tone swiftly but Robin continued without hesitation,"she DOES have the right to know and so do I I'mjusfreallycuriouspleasejustsayit". Barbara took a deep breath "okay, so I don't know how else to tell you this but-" "loOKwhycantwejustdithislater-" Batman had interrupted again but this time it was clear that the woman had enough "YOUR PARENTS HAVE GONE MISSING. GONE. INCOGNITO" Robin gasped. Whatever Arlo had been expecting, it certainly wasn't that. Her mouth stood agape in shock, her very poopy brown eyes were wide with fear. "W-what? I don't understand" Barbara gently sat down on the Lego hospital bed "a missing persons report was filed the day that you got your injuries, but there were signs that they were already gone the night before, do you know anything about this?" Tears started welling up in Arlos eyes "w-well I already thought it was weird when I didn't see them in the morning, and then they didn't send a-any messages from that point on" her throat started to dry up as she stumbled on her words. "So you knew nothing about this?" "N-o". "Ok" Barbara stood back up again "well there's nothing to worry about, I have my best people on the case, they will be found in no time" "since you don't have any known relatives, once you get out of the hospital, you would need to be under someone's custody" she turns to look at the old man who nods smiling. "UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Batman was flopping around, lying on the floor "FINE, YOU GUYS GOTTA STOP GUILTING ME INTO STUFF LIKE THIS, SHE CAN STAY I GUESS". "Excellent" the old man smiled, "we'll see you in a week". All of them left the room in unison, well one at a time, due to the small hospital doors, Robin chattering excitedly. Extremely overwhelmed, Arlo immediately fell back asleep, thinking about the stuff she left at her house, will she be able to get her rainbow sketchers back?
