"I'm so sorry,"

Her head was throbbing, and she felt the hand gripping her arm. It hurts so much.

But her heart hurts more hearing the sobs of the other.

"Maybe if I-"

The grip loosened, and her heart shattered more as she listened. Then, finally, with raised her head and looked at the other with all her might, but all she could see was a blur.

'I'm sorry. I love you.'

Minji's eyes shot open as she gasped for air before coughing.

The sound of sobbing and the words I'm sorry kept replaying in her head like a broken record. She felt uneasy with the thought that maybe the dream had a meaning. But, of course, it didn't help that she woke up with a sore throat and stinging pain in her chest every time it happened.

Almost as if she was heartbroken.

She couldn't make out the other person's face but remembered the jadeite pendant with a specific pattern worn by them.

The same pattern as the tattoo carved on Minji's arm.
