Y/N POV

It was only the second day of interning with Endeavor and I was exhausted. We were woken up before dawn to start the day off with a three-mile run. Afterward, Fuyumi made Shoto and my breakfast but I was falling asleep at the table. I love to sleep and I am useless without it.

Endeavor drove Shoto and me to his fancy office where he began to test our skills. The goal of the training for me was to be able to use my power for a longer period of time. On the other hand, Shoto was training to use his fire ability I could tell from watching him that he was afraid of the fire. I made sure to say encouraging words to him since Endeavor was lacking in that department. Endeavor got upset with my "back seat training" so he sent me to lunch so he could train Shoto alone.

Endeavor's hero agency was huge which means it came with its own cafeteria. However, it was hard to find less for me it was. I had been searching for the cafeteria for the past twenty minutes with no luck of finding it. I didn't want to give up now and have to go ask that slut secretary for help especially after I told her off for hitting on Shoto yesterday. My hunger was getting to me and I needed to get back to training.

"Y/n"

I turn to my name being called and saw Natsuo walking toward me. He was wearing a light blue jumpsuit with the zipper open revealing his white shirt. A smile was spread across his face which was strange to see on a Todoroki family member beside Fuyumi.

"Natsuo" I mindlessly said his name

A light pink came across his face which made me wonder if he was getting sick.

"What are you up to?" He asked.

"I was looking for the cafeteria to get some lunch. What are you doing here?" I replied

"I get free lunch at the cafeteria here so came to eat here today. Would you like to join me for lunch" he asked

"Yes that sounds like fun" I answered

Natsuo showed me to the cafeteria which I was way off from finding. The cafeteria was large and had all types of different foods to pick from. I decided to get f/f to eat and f/d to drink. Natsuo paid for my food since it wasn't free for me. After he took me outside to eat at a picnic table that sat under a huge tree. The tree gave plenty of shade blocking the heat from the sun. No one was outside eating unlike the packed cafeteria inside the building.

We talked about my training with Endeavor and he seemed surprised when I told him I was enjoying it. I knew like his other siblings he didn't have the best relationship with his father. I changed the subject and asked Natsuo about college. He told me that he was studying Medical Welfare and talked about his classes. Natsuo was nice and talked more than his brother

"There you are baby bird"

Natsuo and I both looked up to see the hero Hawks flying above us. He was in his hero costume which didn't flatter him at all. I have always wanted to do a redesign of his costume because whoever made it didn't do him any favors. While I was lost in thought Hawks landed near us.

"Hey Hawks," I said

I used his hero name since Natsuo was near. I got up leaving the picnic table to give Hawks a hug. While I was hugging him and my face buried in the crook of his neck I was unable to see him glaring at Natsuo. After we were done hugging Hawks pulled away giving me a fake smile.

"Who's your friend" Hawks asked

"This is Natsuo Todoroki" I introduced them

"Ahhh Natsuo you are Endeavor's son that doesn't have any powers," Hawks said

Natsuo stood up ready to challenge the hero where Hawks just had a smirk on his face.

"I have powers asshole I just don't want to be a hero" Natsuo explained

"More like can't be a hero," Hawks said in a condescending tone

Both males were now standing chest and I just stood to the side not sure what to do.

"Why are you even here," Natsuo asked

"I'm here to check up on y/n" hawk answered

"Aren't you like thirty you shouldn't be checking up on a sixteen-year-old " Natsuo replied

This made Hawk's smirk disappear and a scowl came across his face.

"I am twenty-one like you asshole so if it's wrong for me to see her then it's wrong for you as well" Hawks explained

The two males' anger seemed to boil over when suddenly my phone started to ring. They both instantly calm down once they noticed my presence again. I looked at my phone to see Shinso calling me. I knew if I wanted to talk to him I needed to do it now since I had trained the rest of the day.

"It's my boyfriend so I'm going to take this," I said to the males

They both had unreadable expressions on their faces as I walked away to take my call. Once they were both out of earshot I answer the phone and put it to my ear.

"Hello," I said

"I missed the sound of your voice beautiful" I heard from the other end of the phone

I giggled and my face heated up at his words.

"Its only been two days" I replied

"Longest two days of my life" he answered

"How about whenever we are done with our internships we have a date," I asked

There was a moment of silence before he spoke again.

"How about you come over to my house and we can watch a movie and I'll make dinner for us but only do you are comfortable with it," he asked

I could hear from the sound of his voice that he was nervous to ask.

"I would really like that" I answered

"G-great," he said stuttering a little

I thought that the

"I need to get back to training but I'll call you later bye," I said

"Bye stay safe" he replied

I hung up my phone and slide it back into my pocket. I could feel the pair's eyes on me before I turn to meet their gaze. Both of their eyes were dull and made me shiver. I reluctantly walk back over to the guys trying to push away my uneasiness.

"Sorry about that guys" I apologized to both of them

"Oh it's no problem," Hawks said forcing a smile

I try to return the smile but it just came out awkward and unnatural.

"I should go I am sure Endeavor is wondering where I have gone," I said

"I'll show you to his office can't have you getting lost again," Natsuo said

I wanted to argue since I didn't want to waste any more of his time but the stern look he gave me shuts me up. The look he gave reminded me of Endeavor but I wasn't going to tell Natsuo that.

"Bye Hawks," I said waving bye to him

"Bye, little bird I'll see you around," Hawks said.

His words gave me the chills as I watched him fly away I pondered when we would meet again with Hawks going Natsuo turned into his usual self. I was surprised by how easy it was for him to make me laugh. As saw a scowl come across Natsuo and I turn to where his eyes were looking to see Endeavor standing at the end of the hall.

"I've been looking for you y/n," Endeavor said

I bowed to Endeavor

"I'm so sir I got lost and Natsuo had to help me" I explained before letting my head back up

Endeavor looked at Natsuo suspiciously.

"Go change into your hero costume we are going to Hosu city" Endeavor order

"But that's the hero Manual territory so you ca-"

"Just do what you are told," Endeavor said interrupting me

I looked down to look away from Endeavor but then I saw that Natsuo had his fist clenched.

"I'm sorry sir I'll go change now and thank you Natsuo for helping," I said

I left the two males standing in the hallway alone to go change. Hopefully, they won't kill each other.

NATSUO POV

I watched as y/n walked out of sight and soon as she was I turn my gaze to my father. I hated how he had spoken to y/n it brought back memories of him abusing my mother.

"Natsuo"

My name being called by my father brought me out of my thoughts.

"What," I asked my voice was hard

I could see that my father was studying my reaction.

"Why are you here you haven't come to my agency since you were a kid," he said

He was right I haven't been here since I was a kid. I use to get excited about coming here with hopes that one day I would be a hero and be a part of this agency. However, that was long ago back when I could stand to be in my father's presence but now y/n was here so this was where I wanted to be.

"I just wanted free food" I lied

"Fuyumi's food is better than anything the cafeteria could make," he said

I didn't know what to say I didn't want to be caught in another lie.

"I saw the way you looked at y/n"

My throat went dry when he said her name.

"I already asked her to marry your brother but now there is more to consider if you like her as well" he finished saying

"You asked her to marry Shoto," I said in shock

It was obvious that Shoto liked her but I didn't think dad would try to set them up.

"Yes but now I most come out with a salutation that will please both you and your brother" Endeavor ponder

"Why are you acting as if you care about me when all you've ever cared about is Shoto" I angrily said

It was like he was waving a toy in front of my face just to snatch it away.

"Despite what you may think I do care about you and your brother and I want to make you both happy. I'm trying to change and become a better person" my father explained

"What if y/n doesn't want to be with either of us," I asked

"Who said she has a choice," my father said in a low tone

My father left me alone in the hall with my thoughts going crazy. Part of me knew it was wrong to force y/n into a relationship but another part was excited to have her even if I had to share.

HAWKS POV

I rushed back to my own agency after leaving y/n and Natsuo. I couldn't get the thought of y/n having a boyfriend out of my head. The way she giggled and blushed on the phone made me sick. I wanted to be the one to make her like that, not some other guy.

I landed on the balcony that leads to my office making sure to compose myself before I walked in. As I walked in I saw my intern was still where I had left. Originally I want y/n but gave up on that idea when I heard Endeavor made her an offer. Next on my list was a kid name Takoyami who had amazing power and a cool bird face to go with them.

I had left him to answer fan mail and I knew that he was not enjoying it. He didn't stir from his work as I entered and the gloomy atmosphere still hung over the boy.

"Hey Takoyami how's it going" I cheerfully

The bird made slight eye contact with me before turning back to his work.

"I'm halfway done" he answered

"Wow great job so I just ran into one of your classmates at Endeavor's agency I think their name was y/- something," I said acting like I forgot her name

"Y/n" Takoyami answered

"Yeah y/n she's kind of cute you ever thought of getting with her," I asked

This was another lie I didn't want him to be with y/n I just needed a way to bring up her boyfriend.

"She's great but she's going out with Hitoshi Shinso" Takoyami answered

"I don't think I have ever heard of him tell me about him," I asked

I was able to get a good bit of information out of Takoyami but I stopped before he got too suspicious. I left the bird boy to finish my fan mail while I went to dig up more info on Hitoshi Shinso. I don't know who this kid is but I know he's not good enough for my Y/n.
