Some months passed after the poison incident.  You started a new life with your new family, the Batfamily. You have yet had the chance to meet the other children who work together with "Batman". But in those months you decided to move into the mansion. You and Bruce decided to take the next step of your relationship. As much as you wanted to spend time with Bruce, he was a busy man so you spent most of your time with the boys. With each birdie boy you had your own activity together. And as a whole  group activity if given the chance you guys would watch a bad movie.
This time let's start with birdie #1 Dick💙
Your days with Dick would be mostly an exercise day. Yoga and acrobatics would be be your top favorite to do.

"Thanks again for helping me with my exercises and for helping with my flexibility, being stuck in my chair it sure does affect my whole body"

"No problem. It's always fun having a partner to exercise with"

Thanks to the exercises it helped you feel less restricted with you body after being in a wheelchair.

Sometime later you and birdie go out for tranquil walk. As you were walking by the mansion's backyard it help to open up a conversation about yourself.

"It's amazing how far you've come after being in a wheelchair now you're able to be much more flexible than before"Dick said.

"It's thanks to your careful guiding. It feels nice not be bound to a wheelchair. It's also quite sad that I don't get to see your carefulness to me when I was barely starting to exercise again. Got to tell you seeing you fret instead of your go carefree self is quite adorable it makes you look a child" you smile as you told Dick.

Duck blush at your statement.
"Anyways I wanted to asked you a question if it's no bother, but how did a person like yourself ended to be a doctor from a public hospital. With your academic standing and your achievements you could have landed in a better job with better benefits."

You start walking slowly... you thought for a moment the answer to the question was brought up.

"I didn't really cared for my big achievements... I also did not cared for a better opportunity for myself. I thought of the bigger picture. This city is not the best place to live, it has the high criminal activity, the government doesn't really help its people, our education system is horrible and public hospitals are not able to help everyone. From all that I learn it needs to change somewhere. I chose medicine in order to help the actual people in this city. I wanted to make a change that way. Maybe not biggest change but I could help somewhere. I'm a doctor that tries to give people the second chance they wouldn't be able to get without the resources needed. In order for change to happen there has to be change in the places where hope seems like fairytale."

You noticed after talking Dick suddenly stop walking. You look at him worryingly.
"Are you alright? Did my answer seem weird?"

"I'm ok. I'm just shocked how much luck Bruce's has in meeting such a saint in this city. And also all of us to get to have a Motherly figure around here" Dick says with a smile on his face.

You smiled with tears in your eyes. You give him a hug and continue on your walk.
