Hi, I wouldn't suggest reading this story unless you read HawksxDabi first because it's a sequel to that! but you can read this one if you like without reading the other one because it's not too confusing but it goes off the storyline created in the first story anyways I hope you enjoy this <3

A few months have passed since Dabi proposed to Hawks. Things were going well for both of them. Hawks had opened his own agency and Dabi was now free of all charges and he was helping out Hawks with hero stuff a lot recently. They were doing good or at least that's what they thought. 

Hawks groaned, moving to shut his alarm off. He reached over for Dabi but only felt the empty side of the bed instead. He sat up, stretching his beautiful red wings out. He got up and walked out into the kitchen. He walked over to the table, Dabi was sitting at and planted a kiss on his forehead. 

"Hey, handsome." Hawks said, walking to the counter 

"Hey, babe," Dabi said while walking up behind Hawks and planting kisses all over his neck. 

"You wanna go out tonight? To a bar or something?" 

"Yeah sounds good I can meet you there after my patrol." 

"Okay," Dabi said, moving back to sit down at the table. 

Hawks finished making his coffee and then sat down beside Dabi. Neither of them exchanged any more words but just left a comfortable silence between each other. Once Hawks finished his coffee, he got ready for patrol. He said bye to Dabi giving him a kiss and left his apartment. 

The patrol was pretty easy today, He took down a few villains, attended a few meetings, and protected the city. After he finished his patrol, he flew over to his agency, exchanged a few words with people, and headed towards the bar. 

Once Hawks got there he looked around to find Dabi. He eventually found him on the far side at the bar, in a booth in the corner. He walked over to him and sat in front of him. 

"Hey Dabi!" 

"Hey hawks, how was patrol?" 

"It was good." 

"I already ordered you you're usual" 

"Thanks" 

Hawks and Dabi sat in silence for a while drinking their drinks when a strange-looking man walked up to them. 

"Well, what do we have here?" 

Dabi and Hawks both confused. 

"A hero and a villain having drinks together. Seems pretty odd to me. Why would a hero want to be with such a low-life villain?" The man asked, laying an envelope on the table. 

"Uh... well for one I'm not a villain anymore and for two it's really none of your business what we're doing," Dabi said, taking a sip of his drink. 

"What do you want? What's the envelope for?" Hawks asked. 

"Well, I need your help with something, the both of you." 

"And why would we help you?" 

"Well, you both have secrets that I'm sure you wouldn't want people to know right? I have eyes and ears everywhere trust me I know things you guys think I don't. So if you don't want your secrets to get out, especially to the public, I suggest you help me. Oh and if you don't help me, I'm simply gonna have to kill you guys." The man said

"What do you want us to do?" 

"Well I need your help taking down the league" 

"What why?" Hawks asked, looking up at the man. 

"Because they are affecting things I have to do and I need them gone." 

"But what does that have to do with us?" Dabi asked. 

"Well, you used to be a part of the league. Touya Todoroki" 

"How the hell do you know that name??" Dabi asked, getting angry

"Like I said I have eyes and ears everywhere but anyways since you used to be a part of the league I'm sure you can get back into it. I need information on them. I already know the basic stuff, I know their quirks and I know everyone who's in it but what I need to know who is the leader, the location, and where the hell all for one is. You have three days to get back into the league and reveal their location to me. I'll contact you, I'm Ripper, by the way, I'm sure you've heard of me." He smirked and then walked away. 

"Are you kidding me, we have to help Ripper? One of the worst villains?" Hawks asked, turning his attention towards Dabi

"Hawks, I don't think we have a choice" 

"What if we go to the heroes?" 

"Hawks that's a bad idea and you know it." 

"Yeah... Well, are you really gonna take down the league?" 

"I'm not sure ok?" Dabi said and got up and walked to the bathroom. 

Hawks sat there, not bothering to go after him. He picked up the envelope and looked inside. It was a list of what Hawks had to do and what Dabi had to do. The only thing Hawks had to do was betray the heroes by working with Ripper. Hawks put the paper back into the envelope and walked to the bathroom. He found Dabi rinsing water on his face, while blood fell into the sink as well. Dabi had been crying. 

"Dabi what's wrong?" 

Dabi jumped at the sudden noise and looked over at Hawks. 

"Nothing.." Dabi replied while walking over to get a napkin 

"Dabi you've been crying, talk to me." Hawks said walking closer to Dabi 

"Look I just don't want to help ripper. I'm not supposed to be like this anymore. How am I supposed to betray my family?" 

Hawks didn't say anything but instead pulled Dabi in a hug. Dabi hugged Hawks tightly, crying into his shoulder. Hawks had never seen Dabi like this but he tried his very best to be there for him and comfort him.
