Hawks made it to the building in only a few minutes. He looked around for Dabi but he was nowhere to be seen. 

"Dabi??" Hawks called out but was left only with the sounds of his own heartbeat. He sent out feathers to search for him. None of them found anything until one of them was grabbed. Hawks followed the feather and found Dabi laying on the floor, surrounded by a pool of blood. Hawks quickly rushed over to Dabi. He put pressure on the stab wound in his stomach and leg. 

"Dabi, what happened?" 

No response, Dabi was unconscious. Hawks quickly picked him up and flew him to the lov hideout. He bursted through the door and all eyes quickly turned towards him. 

"Can someone please help him??" Hawks shouted out 

Shigaraki got up and walked towards the back, a few seconds later two guys came out of a room with him. They walked over to Dabi and took him from Hawks arms and carried him to a back room leaving Hawks there covered in Dabi's blood. A few hours went by before shigaraki came out of the room and back in to the bar. 

"I-Is he okay?" Hawks asked, finally looking up from his bloody hands 

Hawks voice was shaky, in shock even because his once boyfriend could be dead because of him. He wasn't sure what happened but he felt like it was his fault for not finding him sooner. 

"He's fine. He has to recover but he should be alright." 

Hawks felt a weight had been lifted off of his chest. The love of his life was gonna be alright. 

"Can I go see him?" 

"Sure," Shigaraki said, turning his attention back to the drink in front of him 

Hawks walked quickly into the room Dabi was in, making sure to knock first he was let in by one of the guys who was caring for Dabi. Hawks walked in and saw Dabi lying there. He didn't look too good. One of the guys whispered something into Dabi's ear and then they both walked out. Hawks walked over to Dabi and sat in the chair next to his bed. 

"Are you okay? H-how are you feeling?" Hawks asked, trying not to cry 

"Hawks... I'm okay. Don't cry. You can't get rid of me that easily." Dabi chuckled a little too hard, which caused his wound to hurt.

"Well, What happened?" 

"Endeavor happened." 

"What?? Are you serious? I'll kill him!" 

"Hawks... calm down he only did it because I wouldn't convince you to shut down your agency." 

Hawks knew it... He knew it would somehow be his fault and he was right. He should have just done what endeavor asked and none of this would have happened. His boyfriend almost died because of him.

"I'm so sorry... this is all my fault I should've just shut down my agency as he told me to do." 

Dabi sat up and took a hold of Hawks hands. 

"It's not your fault babe I promise." 

Hawks got up and walked towards the door. 

"Hawks where are you going?" 

"To talk to that asshole." 

Before Dabi could protest Hawks walked out of the door. Hawks flew to endeavor's agency and found him in his office. He shut the door quickly which caught endeavor's attention. 

"May I help you?" endeavor asked 

"You asshole. What the actual hell is wrong with you?" 

"I'm not following. What is this about?" Endeavor asked, turning his attention back to the stack of papers on his desk. 

"You tried to kill him!! This has gone way too far I have done nothing to you." 

"Hawks maybe you should have done what you're told. If your agency isn't shut down by tomorrow I will do it myself." 

"What about all the people who have jobs there??? What is the point of this?" 

"Hawks I don't care about the people who work there they can find new jobs and as for you, you can come and work for me again." 

"I'd rather never be a hero again than work for you. You asshole!!" 

Hawks walked out slamming the door shut and flew out of his agency. He flew for a little while trying to clear his head. After a while, he landed on the rooftop of the lov hideout. He wasn't too sure of what to do. Should he give up this hero life for good? but what about this thing with Ripper? He had to be a hero in order to help him. Was he really gonna have to go and work for endeavor again? The one who got twice killed and some of the league arrested? After all, the league still felt like a family to Hawks and they were slowly starting to trust him again but would it even matter if they're gonna betray them again? There was only one thing hawks could do... work for the asshole again. 

Okay so... I'm not too sure if he could still be a hero without an agency and if it was in the show I was certainly not paying attention lol but in this story in order to be a hero you either have to work for another agency or have ur own.
