Prologue

"You look really dumb pacing around the room, Asher." A voice said. "You know, you shouldn't be worried. You've been waiting for this moment, why worry now?" The same voice asked. "It's normal to feel this way Kael. It's my Wedding Way after all." Asher said "Yeah and that's why you shouldn't worry. It's your big day!" Kael said standing up from where he was sitting. Asher sighed as he was getting more nervous. "Easy for you to tell, No one wants to marry you." Asher said. "Yet. "Kael retorted back while smirking. There was a long silence before that until Kael spoke again. "Is he coming?" he asked. "who?" Asher asked as he was confused about who Kael was referring to. "You know who," Kael said, expecting Asher to know who. "Dude I seriously don't know who," Asher said, getting annoyed. " You know, Z," Kael said with a serious face. Asher knew who he was referring to as soon Kael said the letter Z. That made him wonder too, Did he actually come? It would be cruel if he says he wants to see him on his wedding day, but that's exactly what he wants. He wants to see him. "I don't know, I sent him an invitation though," Asher answered, making it look like he didn't care.

"If I were him, I wouldn't show up too," Kael said shrugging.

"Well anyways gotta go now man, Kimberly is already there at the church and she's waiting for me," Kael informed Asher before leaving.

Asher sat in a not-so-comfortable silence after Kael left. He was still wondering about the guy Kael mentioned. His mind was focused on Z instead of his wedding.

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Asher honey, You good in there?" A sweet voice called. Asher ignore the thoughts in his head and smiled as he heard his mother's voice.

"Mom come in," Asher ordered. As soon as his mother entered, she engulfed her son in a tight hug. "Aww, my baby is all grown up." Asher's Mom said. Asher chuckled when he saw her tear up. "Aw, Mom, don't cry," Asher said still chuckling. Asher's mom wiped her tears and smiled. She saw his messed-up tie and fixed it. "Don't disappoint me, okay hun?" She said while fixing Ashe's tie and suit. Asher stiffened when he heard this. He slowly nods at his mother as a response. "Good luck honey." Ashers' mom said, smiling as she left the room.

Asher can only sigh as he watches his mother leave. He looked at his own reflection in the mirror before checking the time and realize that there is only a few minutes before his wedding starts. He stood up straight and took a deep breath before exiting the room.

As Asher reached the altar, he observed everybody, hoping to see a familiar face. He went to the front of the altar and spotted Kael and decided to chat with him while waiting. And then finally, the wedding started. Everything was going well. Asher saw his beautiful wife, Avyanna. She was wearing a beautiful white dress. It made her look like a queen. Asher felt elated as soon as he saw her.

She was perfect. Too perfect.

As Avyanna reached the front of the altar, Asher held her hands and smiled. "You look like an angel darling." He complimented. "You don't look half bad darling," Avyanna said while chuckling.

After a few minutes, The happy couple said their vows to each other. Everything was perfect. It was going smoothly. Everyone is happy. Everyone was touched. Everyone was enjoying this day.

"Stop!"

Everybody at the altar was surprised when they heard a loud voice scream. They saw a tall man in tears at the center of the altar. Asher was also surprised, As he look at where the voice came from, his heartbeat fastened.

'No way' Asher thought, eyes wide open.

"Zion.?"
