Austin's POV

I took in a small sigh, stand up. I felt the adrenaline rush over my body, as if my body was ready to crush someone.
"Are you ready?"
I nodded back, pulling out my massive sword.
I herd this THINGS odd giggle, and it already made me shake a tad.
He swiftly ran toward me with a black sword with slight cracks in it. I quickly counter-attacked him with a simple sword block. My foot slid on the grass, making a mark and ruining the pathway.
I quickly hopped back at it, throwing him to the ground, but he made a quick humpback and got back on his feet, running at me. He jumped up, and as he was about to slash my head open, but I slid between his crotch on the last second. He slashed through my elbow, it felt really bad...but I have to keep fighting! For Bri! I quickly maneuvered back to the front, only to quickly counter attack. I felt the black sword shine in the sun, I quickly slashed my sword, and got it away from it. Kicking him down and stepping on his chest with my foot.
"You're done."
I let out, breathing in as much as I can, only to be thrown backwards and hit my head on a massive side rock.
Either way, I quickly got up and ran at it once more. The thing quickly grabbed his sword and was about to attack me, but I hit first.
I stabbed him in the side of his torso.
I had to hump back, just so he wouldn't kill me. He threw his sword at me, but I grasped it by the handle!-
AGH! OW! I dropped the sword, with my hand in an insane amount of pain...I quickly kicked it into the ocean.
The thing let out an odd smirk. As if he didn't expect the sword to make my palms bleed out.
He quickly threw a dark mattered orb at me, there were an insane amount of them.
I ducked, humped and jumped as much as I could to avoid those stupid things!
I let out a fairly large light crystal at his heart, and to my surprise, it hit! I guess I threw it so quickly and unexpectedly-
Oh wait it hit the side of his elbow...dam-it
He started running at me, even quicker than before. Attacking me whenever he had the chance to.
I had to block all of it with my sword, I kept trying to kick him over and defeat him. I felt my body heat up from all the adrenaline.
I slashed at it, throwing it down.
This time. I, not only put my foot on his chest, I put the swords sharpest end to his neck. One simple move, and he'll be dead...
"Fine...You win."
I let out a sigh of relief and let him go.
He stood up, and started to clean up Xylos clothing.
I quickly shot out a big light crystal, dead at his heart. It let out a yelp and fell to the floor. I noticed Bri looking over, letting out a sigh.
I herd It scream in pain...and then...
A dark soul thing just flew out of his eyes. I started to run and chase it. I tried my hardest, but it ran away even quicker.
Soon enough we were running through the forest, I was right on his soul tail.
Once I got really close to him, he blended in with the dark and hid away.
It was already an early night. So, I climbed the tree and looked over at were the camp was. I quickly started maneuvering my way around the trees towards the camp.
Once I got back, I saw it talking with Bri.
"Hey...what's going on here?"
I asked, it looked up at me, and hugged me.
"AUSTIN....That goddamn no god Satan!"
I let out a yelp, now completely confused why it was hugging me.
"I was possessed my guy! I don't know who did it, but I know someone did!"
I hugged Xylo back. It felt amazing to hug my best friend again! He's my bro! He's da best bro in the world!
"Austin...are you okay? You seem very cut-up."
I smile to him, and simply answer...
"I'm fine! He barely struck me!"
Although I say'd that, I knew it was a massive lie. I was in an insane amount of pain...I felt my arm rash even more now, with all the blood peaking out of my withered skin.
"That's good...well you should rest either way! You did a very good job at fightin' me!"
We let out a few laughs. The only reason I threw the crystal at him, was because I felt like I had to. It was as if...he was begging me to do it.
It's almost like my brain told me I HAD to do this!
So now, they were helpin' me get to my cabin. I felt like everything was good once more! I lay'd down in my bed. Feeling like everythin' was good.
Once I lay'd down in my bed, I shut my eyes and fell asleep. I felt someone curl up my hair, their touch was soft, almost cuddly. Yet...it wasn't like Bri.
I slightly flinched, hugging Fred.
"You really are adorable...aren't you Austin?"
The voice was familiar...wait...IS THAT BRIAN?!
"I'll see you soon my love, I'll be visiting soon..."
He let out a few chuckles and left through my window. He let out a laugh and disappeared.
I blast open my eyes, turn around, only to see one rose on my bedside table. By it was a note. It red:
'Dear Austin
It's ben quite a journey ever since I met you that faithful day, and although, I believe you know whom I am, you don't know me as a person.
If you'd like. We could meet up by the fountain in 2 weeks 4am.
I'll be waiting...
