You wondered how Zenitsu was doing he got dragged off to go do a solo mission before hearing some of the commotion. It's been a month since you've became a Tsuguko under Shinobu, and you kept a stead mark in training. Over all, nothing much as changed except you becoming a speed demon. Uzui did give you some tips on moving stealthily through the terrain so there was a hint. In the forest, is where we'd find you. You took out your new sword out of its sheath. It is the same as any katana from the handle to slightly above the hilt, but above that, the weapon loses its blade and is replaced by a rod. It ends in a needle-like tip while the sides of the needle like tip is curved so you could slice through demons while also using the needle to thrust and stab. Apparently, the "stinger" is designed for injection of Wisteria poisons into Demons, as you used your newly found medical expertise to end demons quicker. Like Shinobu, you have also modified the weapon's sheath, using it as a portable poison mixer and loader. Your katana's hilt is designed to bear resemblance to a puddle of blood mixed in drops of Poison. The blade is lavender purple in color. You also cut the sleeves of the fire rat robe and gave it to Nezuko for some level of protection.

"Where have you been all my life?" You smiled at your new blade, holding it while twisting it around. You then put it away and headed back into the butterfly mansion. When you arrived, there was lots of screaming and yelling. You heard the voice of Tanjiro and smiled. "It's about time."

You reached the door as Inosuke was shouting and slid it open, standing up straight. Everyone looked at you as you had a 'Shinobu' glare. "Oi, quiet down in here."

"A-Ah, Y/n! Welcome back!" Aoi shouted as she held back Inosuke. "How'd the mission go?"

"It went great, just training a bit before I headed back." You then looked at Tanjiro. You smirked and crossed your arms. "Well, my friend. You've definitely seen better days."

"Y/n? Is that you? Your tone shifted...Nice haircut." Tanjiro said as you shrugged.

"I had some help, your family never did trust me with my own hair." a truer statement hadn't been stated today. "Glad you're awake."

"I'm glad... you and Inosuke are safe... thank you for taking care of...Nezuko." he said still tired out.

"It's not a problem. I'll probably do it for the rest of my life." You then turned to Inosuke. "I'm pretty sure I told you not to move. You resisted the medicine so you need to be careful. You'll be able to go back to work tomorrow."

"REALLY?! ALRIGHT!" Inosuke charged out the room as you noticed Tanjiro was sleeping. You simply smiled and walked out as well.

A week had gone by, Tanjiro made a full recovery. Though he wasn't in shape. "Nghhh, this sucks. Yeah, my stamina's not coming back. I can't stretch flat out."

You looked at him as a sister pulled his arms back. "It's understandable, you've been sleeping for 2 months."

"Hmm... did I new a new sword while I was sleeping? I chipped my old one." as soon as he said that, you and the sisters flinched.

"Oh! Your sword? Well..." one of them said.

"Just show him the letters from Haganezuka." You said as another sister looked at you.

"Are you sure?" she asked and you nodded. They gave Tanjiro the hate letters. It was hard not to feel bad for him. "He hasn't sent any swords here for the last two months...."

"Oh, okaaay... but I only chipped it this time, maybe it's because I actually broke it before." Tanjiro had a mild panic attack.

"But people often damage their swords, right...?" one of the sisters tilted their heads. After all this time, you still didn't know which is which. "Maybe Haganezuka-san's the one who's being difficult here."

"How about you head to the village? I think you should meet him in person and talk things out." another sister picked up a giant rice crackers and began snacking.

"The village?" Tanjiro looked at you and your two swords in their sheath. 

"Apparently, all the swordsmiths live there." You told him as your crossed arms with a smile. "I need to head there as well."

He looked at you with stars in his eyes. "Can I come along!?"

"Remind me to never be carried again." You said as you hopped to the ground as you took the blindfold off, you found Tanjiro looking around in amazement with Nezuko on his back.

"Those are amazing buildings!! And I know this smell! There's a hot spring nearby!" it seems that he was fanboying.

"Yeah, there is one." the lady agent spoke with a smile. "You'll see a large house when you turn left there. Make sure to greet them first and foremost. Well. I will be taking my leave."

You smiled and bowed. "Thank you."

"Thank you so much!" Tanjiro said as you both eventually arrived to the destination to see a bunch of people with masks.

"Hello there. I am the chief of this village, Tecchikawahara Tecchin. Very nice to meet you both." Tecchin introduced himself. "I may be the smallest in this village, but I am also the best at my craft. Now, bow your heads so low that it touches the mat."

And so you and Tanjiro did just that. "Tanjiro Kamado! Very honored to meet you!

You spoke next. "Y/n Higurashi. Thank you for allowing us to visit."

"What good boys." the chief said and held a basket of small cakes. "Now come over here and take some dough cakes."

"Ah! Thank you so much!" Tanjiro took the basket and you took one.

"Mmm!? It's good..." You were taken back a bit.

"Hotaru has gone missing right now. We're doing our best to look for him, so please be patient." Tecchin said as you were confused.

"Hotaru? That's Haganezuka's full name?" You said with a smirk.

"What a cute name!" Tanjiro ate another cake.

"I'm the one who gave it to him." Tecchikawahara spoke and got frustrated a little, "But he keeps badmouthing me since he says it's too cute. He's always been like this ever since he was a child. He always throws tantrums right away, then he goes off somewhere. Sorry about that."

"Oh, no, no!" Tanjiro got worried. "I'm the one who ends up either breaking the sword or chipping it."

"No. You're wrong." Tecchi said with a dangerous aura. "It's his fault for creating a sword that could actually break."

"As soon as we find him, we'll seize him and bring him over. So don't worry about anything." a man next to Tecchikawahara said.

"Let's not rush to violence if we can." You said as Tecchikawahara looked at you both.

"I heard Tanjiro-kun's body still hasn't recovered enough to be sent out into the field. So if Hotaru doesn't forge your sword by then, we'll have someone else's do it." he stated and then looked at you. "And Y/n, I hope you're enjoying that new sword I made. But nevertheless, you're here to find your mother's belongings, correct?"

You were shocked, and it must have shown on your face, because he gave a small chuckle. He made your new sword? That's actually... PRETTY SURPRISING!! "Yeah, how did you...?"

"I was a great friend of your Mother, Moroha. She would come in the village to see your father, who was raised and born here. Her sword was forged with her master, herself, your father, and I." Tecchikawahara stated as you were about to say something. "I'm sorry, you're mother gave very specific instructions for you to find it yourself within this village."

"Of course she did..." You sighed and held your head.

"The hot springs in our village does wonders for the body. So please, spend some time there." Tecchikawahara said as you and Tanjiro started to walk out.

"Man, it's a hunt, Eh? What kinda games was mom planning?" You asked yourself.

Tanjiro turned his head towards you. "I didn't know your father lived in the village."

"Yeah... neither did I. Maybe he too is in the well." You added as you arrived at a spot.

"The spring is at the top of this hill. I will be preparing your meals down here." The man said as he pointed upward.

"AHHHHHH! IT'S TANJIRO AND Y/N!!! TANJIROOOOOO!!! Y/NNNNNN!" You saw the love pillar coming at you both. Tanjiro put his hands out as you stepped back.

"OH! PLEASE BE CAREFUL! YOUR BREASTS ARE GOING TO SPILL OUT!!" Tanjiro yelled out as she slid on her knees.

"LISTEN, LISTEN!! I GOT IGNORED! I GREETED HIM AND HE IGNORED ME!" She cried with tears in her eyes.

"Who did?" You asked as she started waving her arms around.

"I DON'T KNOW!!! I ASKED HIM HIS NAME AND HE IGNORED ME! ISN'T THAT JUST CRUEL? I'M A PILLAR!"

You shrugged. "It's not too uncommon. I don't know your name."

"IT'S MITSURI KANROJI!" Mitsuri was in disbelief and held her face. "NOW ALL THAT GOOD ENERGY I GOT FROM COMING OUT OF THE SPRING IS COMPLETELY GONE!!"

Tanjiro smiled at her, trying to comfort her. "It looks like they'll be done with dinner soon. I heard they used Masutake Mushrooms." "WHOAAAAAA!!! YOU SERIOUS?!"

She took off running as you sighed and crossed your arms. "Hope she doesn't eat all of it before we get back."

When you arrived at the springs, you wondered how exactly this was gonna work. "Ow."

"Hmm? What's-?" You then saw a tooth in Tanjiro's hand as you then saw a man picking out his teeth. He smelled like a demon, but... it was different. It wasn't similar to you, but at the same time was...? "Genya Shinazugawa."

"Eh?!" He turned around to see you and Tanjiro. "DROP DEAD!!"

In an unexpected turn of events, Tanjiro immediately stripped and ran towards him in the hot springs. You thought you might have to close your eyes and tell Kanao the bad news. "IT'S BEEN SO LONG!! HOW'VE YOU BEEN?! YOU HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AS THE WIND PILLAR!!"

"DON'T TALK TO ME!!!" Genya shoved Tanjiro's head underwater and left. You picked up a rock and threw it at his head, as it sped up faster and faster until... "OW!!!!"

"I thought I could be friends with him since we were both in the nude. Man, relationships are hard." Tanjiro said as you got in the hot springs but we're across from Tanjiro on the other side. "You okay, Y/n? Is Nezuko bothering you?"

"Yeah, I'm good." You said as you looked at your hands. "I guess I just feel like a different person these last two months. I can't really... wait... did you say Nezuko is in here...!?"

A splash up right in front of you revealing Nezuko in all her glory, you immediately turned cherry red as you covered your eyes. "GAH-! TANJIRO! YOU HAD TO KNOW THIS WAS NOT OKAY FOR ME!!"

You quickly picked up your clothes and lept in the air and back to the house. Then dinner rolled around and you looked at the mountain of empty dishes... "Mitsuri... Are you human?"

"Awe! You don't have to flatter me, Y/n! I didn't eat that much today after all." "HOW MUCH DO YOU NORMALLY EAT?!" You shouted as Tanjiro smiled.

"That means we gotta eat lots and get stronger, Y/n!!" Tanjiro added and you shook your head.

"I don't think that's how that works, buddy..." You told him as you looked at Mitsuri. "Speaking of which? The guy you ran into back at the springs was Genya Shinazugawa. He took the final selection with us."

"Oh!! Is that so... that'd mean he's Shinazugawa's little brother, right? But he told me he didn't have one. Maybe they don't get along? That's so tragic."

"Oh, are they...? Why is that?" Tanjiro asked a very good question as Mitsuri tickled tiny Nezuko.

"Well, I have five siblings and I get along with all of them. I don't really know. I guess the Shinazugawa brothers are just scary." Mitsuri commented.

"Well, he still hasn't shown up. If what I heard correctly, he told the villagers that he won't eat at all." You said to everyone.

"Maybe he brought something with him." Mitsuri added.

"...I hope he's okay. I'll bring him some leftovers." Tanjiro said as Mitsuri smiled.

"Yeah! Great idea!" Mitsuri said as you all began to walk.

"Mitsuri, why did you join the Demon Slayer corps?" You asked her and she got embarrassed.

"Huh? Me? It's kinda embarrassing... oh no. Should I? See..." Mitsuri started to blush and held her face with a smile. "I JOINED SO I COULD FIND A GENTLEMAN WHO WOULD MARRY ME FOR LIFE!!"

"..." you and Tanjiro were speechless.

"GIRLS ACTUALLY LIKE MEN WHO ARE STRONGER THAN THEMSELVES. GIRLS WANT TO BE PROTECTED BY THEM! YOU GET IT? MAYBE THIS IS HARD FOR MEN TO UNDERSTAND."

"..." You both then started to get worried. It's okay, every single person who heard this felt the same way. You all eventually arrived to Genya's room but he wasn't there. Mitsuri then left after her sword had been finished, but she told you both that facing an upper moon is equal to five or ten years of intense training. She did tell Tanjiro about a secret sword, but you could tell it wasn't yours. You laid back with your legs spread out and arms behind your head. You looked at Nezuko. "Hey, Nez. You ever think about getting married?"

She seemed to think about it before nodding. She then... pointed at you. You blushed and turned around. "HAHAHAH! G-G-GOOD NIGHT!!!!"

You turned around and covered your eyes and Nezuko hugged you one last time before going to sleep in her box. When you woke up, Tanjiro and Nezuko were gone. You flipped up to your feet and grabbed your two katanas. "Alright. It's time to head out!"

You walked out and looked around, you then leapt up into the distance. You landed on a tree and smelt a pillar. "Hm? Isn't that-?"

"Hm? You're... Higurashi..." You spotted the Mist pillar, not that you knew much about him.

"That's right. So... Imma head out now." You then hesitantly ran on ahead with incredible speed. In a blink of an eye, you had disappeared. "I don't have any clues, no smell to look for... well. It's bound to be a rusted blade by now, so all I gotta do his smell for rust."

Which you think would be easy, but in a village full of Swordsmiths, everyone is bound to have a couple rusted blades. You continued searching almost every house for seven days. You gained a shadow over your eyes and looked at the sky. "DAAAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!"

"I'M NOT GIVING UP!!! There's gotta be something." You sniffed the air one more time and suddenly, the pressure got heavy. You held your nose. "Ugh! What the hell? My senses are overloading? Just where is that coming from?"

You followed the smell though it felt like your head was gonna burst. You had to walk to make sure you conserved energy on the way back. You looked at a small house, but It didn't seem like it was from this time period, it looked like something... well Zenitsu would call it modern. You knocked on the door but instead found some sort of knob. "Huh? What the hell is this?"

You tried to pull on the knob but it didn't budge, you twisted your hand and pushed and the door opened. You looked to see an upstairs area which you immediately went up to. The rooms were empty, but your head urged you to find the source of the smell. You went back but it seems it led back outside. You discovered a shack like place and opened it up. You saw a bunch of dolls with talisman and a hole full of broken bricks. "Was this... another one of the wells...?"

You smelt a lovely scent, but you couldn't really figure out what it was. You followed it until you saw a case, untouched. You opened it up and saw what was in it. A mid-length sword containing a dragon crest along its blade, its hilt wrapped in red, and finished with bronze. But as you held it, a tear skimmed down your cheek. "Mom..."

That's right. The scent was the scent of your mother, when she welded the blade. Years of not knowing anything about her, for you to suddenly learn most in a span of two years... I assume it just caught up to you. You pulled the blade and it was indeed rusted. You closed it and sighed. You put it on your waist. "Alright, better ask Tecchikawahara a favor."

And so you brought the sword to him. He nodded his head with delight. "So you truly found it. Kurikaramaru, Moroha's primary weapon. Thought it has rusted quite a bit from its prime."

You got on your knees and bowed till your head it the ground. "I know it's a lot to ask of you, Tecchikawahara, but can you fix it."

"Hahaha! Raise your head!" he chuckled as you did so. "It would be paying a debt back to your mother. I should have it done..."

"So that happened yesterday. And I heard it will take three days and three nights to finish." Tanjiro said the same thing as you after you told the news. You ate an onigiri and looked at him.

"I guess both of our polishing will end the day after tomorrow." You finished the onigiri and took another one out your basket while Tanjiro ate some rice cakes. "What I want to know is this new aura I'm getting from you. You learned something new, didn't you?"

"Hehehe, I did! I'm catching up to you, Y/n!" Tanjiro said with a smile as you smirked at him.

You crossed your arms and leaned forward. "Oh really? You're still two months behind me."

"That is true. But what they said is true, their methods are so severe that people have died from them. I'm kinda worried." Tanjiro voiced his concern. "And Haganezuka told me not to check on him. Ever. But should I?"

"I DON'T CARE!! GET YOU AND THE MUTT OUT OF HERE, DAMNIT! DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE I'M YOUR FRIENDS!!!" Genya shouted at you and Tanjiro as you both were seen in his room.

Tanjiro too was in shock. "But we're friends, right?"

"NO, WE'RE NOT, DUMBASSES!!" He shouted as he glared at Tanjiro and you. "YOU BROKE MY GODDAMN ARM, AND HE BROKE MY BROTHER'S ARM! DON'T TELL ME YOU BOTH FORGOT!!"

Tanjiro smiled at him. "Hey, you hit a little girl. I had to, Genya. You were completely at fault."

You crossed your arms. "Your brother stabbed my best friend, he deserved it, Genya."

"DON'T CALL ME BY MY FIRST NAME!!!" Genya shouted as Tanjiro raised a cracker.

"These rice crackers are really good, wanna try?" Tanjiro said as Genya broke the cracker.

"SHITFACE!! I DON'T NEED THAT CRAP! GET OUT!!" he shouted and you finally understood his abilities. You smirked.

"Nice teeth, Genya. Wonder how you got a full set back after you pulled them out earlier." You said as he went silent for a long time.

"You must've been seeing things." Genya said as Tanjiro held his tooth.

"No, he wasn't. I have your tooth here." "WHY DID YOU TAKE IT?! EWWWW, YOU'RE FUCKING GROSS!!" Genya shouted at him.

"But, I mean, you dropped it and I wanted to give it back." Tanjiro said kindly as Genya lost it.

"YOU'RE INSANE! THROW IT OUT!!! AND FUCK OFF!!" You both were officially kicked out so you both headed to bed, Nezuko fell asleep in your lap. You suddenly smelt something and went to slice something with your claws but saw the mist pillar in your face, so you backed off.

"Oh, don't scare me like that." You said and relaxed.

"I didn't mean any harm." he spoke to you. "Do you know the swordsmith Kanamori?"

"Hmm... I don't know anyone like that. Let me check with Tanjiro." you punched Tanjiro's stomach and he immediately woke up.

"GAAH-!! Y/n? What was that for?!" Tanjiro asked as he was asked the same question by Tokitou. "Well, I know him... but why? I think he's with Haganezuka-San."

"He's my new swordsmith. Where's Haganezuka?" Tokitou asked as Tanjiro smiled.

"Me and Y/n were planning on looking for them today." Tanjiro said as Tokitou didn't understand.

You smirked, "Wanna tag along?"

"...Why are you both so concerned? Don't you have something else you should be doing?" Tokitou asked.

Tanjiro looked at him with a even bigger smile. "Helping others people also ends up beneficial for you at the end of the day. And I wanted to go check up on them, so nice timing."

"That's right, we've only gotten this far by helping others and surviving. We gotta leave this world better than when we entered it." You said as Tokitou's face... emotion changed.

"What? What did you just say now...! Now, now...." Tokitou was confusing you as Nezuko sprung awake and slammed her head on your face. You held your face as you shook.

"Nezuko!! You're up! Y/n, are you okay?" Tanjiro asked as you held your face.

"My face hurts, besides that, I'm good." You said as Nezuko ran towards you and hugged your face. "Well, now I can't breathe. It's more soothing though. Can't complain."

"That's one strange creature there..." Tokitou said but you immediately got up and flicked your new sword and held it with your left hand, taking the Ko Gasumi stance. "Hm... what's...?"

"Upper moon." You showed your fangs and gripped the blade. "There's no doubt about it!"

Not even a blink of an eye, you dashed towards the doors when they started to slide open. "Poison Breathing First form; Y/n's claws!"

You moves your sword forward, forming a very large amount of poison in five massive waves shaped like a claw, which slammed into the cracks and the door, but the demon leaped up in the air avoiding it but not entirely, you cut it across the face. You quickly leapt in the air after it as Tanjiro and Tokito took battle stances. Tokito tried his fourth form but it missed as the demon cried. "Stop it! Don't bully me! Eeeek!"

"My demon energy will eat away at his resistance to poison. It's only a matter of time before it's all gone." You said as Tanjiro followed you in the air and went for a trust attack. But the demon dodged again, but got kicked back by Nezuko as she transformed. "Nice job, Nezuko! Fifth Form: Zenitsu's Clapback!"

You put your sword back in the sheath. You then unsheathes the blade and the Tessaiga while dashing forward at blinding speeds at the demon from the ceiling. You actually decapitated it faster than it could react as your feet were planted in the ground. The head went flying in the air. "Eeei! I got cut uuuuup!!"

"He's not fading! DAMN IT! KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!" You shouted as the head suddenly grew another body and the body grew another head. "Oh, your bedtime talks must do wonders."'

"I'll take the one behind!" Tanjiro shouted as you felt the pressure of the demon in front of you and Tokitou.

"Wait! Tokitou!" You quickly got in front of him and took out both of your blades. You put them in a cross as the demon waved his fan. "Oh... SHI-!"

A huge wave rang out and destroyed part of the house. You and Tokitou got launched out and into the air. The only thing you could see and hear before seeing all black was Tanjiro's cry of worry.

And Nezuko's look that made you want to return to her.
