"Nezuko..." Miki looked at your body as Nezuko still held your hand. It's been two months, and Tanjiro's been ordered to only visit you for 5-7 hours because he tried to rush to see you immediately after waking up. No one could tell why you weren't walking up, but based on what they had to go off of... many thought you took the deal. But Nezuko... she and the others always knew that you hated Muzan just as much as the others. Miki leaned on the door, she hadn't seen the spirits like she normally did, In fact, it's like they all went away. "Are you planning to take him for a walk?"

"I don't like to call it that but yes." Nezuko tried to put on a brave face as Miki looked at her.

"It's okay to cry, you know." Miki said as Nezuko nodded.

"I know, I've been crying a lot more recently." after Nezuko said that, Miki started to get worried. But Nezuko clenched her fist with a smile. "But I know Y/n would want me to keep my head up."

"Yeah... he would..." Miki said with a sad smile. Nezuko wrapped your arm around her neck and slowly picked you up. "Oh yeah, what'd you do with his sword?"

"Oh, I hid it so if he wakes up he can't go straight to it." Nezuko said with a smile as Aoi walked in the room. "Oh, Aoi-San."

"Just seeing if he's awake, no luck today yet." she said sadly as Nezuko smiled.

"Not yet! But he's bound to wake up any second now!" Nezuko kept staying positive. Aoi nodded and didn't say anything. Nezuko then came across a mumbling Zenitsu. "Zenitsu?"

"AAAAAAAH-!" Zenitsu shouted with worry but then he turned around to see Nezuko. "Oh, Nezuko-Chan! You scared me! I thought you were Y/n."

"...? What were you up to?" she asked confused as Zenitsu rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's kinda embarrassing, really." Zenitsu blushed and put his fingers together. "I was practicing my speech for Y/n so I could have his blessing to marry Miki ."

Nezuko was shocked. "M-Marriage?!"

Even though you were sleeping, your body let off a dangerous aura. Zenitsu got terrified and started to walk away. "C-Catch you next time, Nezuko-Chan!"

"B-Bye, Zenitsu!" Nezuko said as she eventually walked out of the butterfly mansion and onto the hill. She sat down and put your sleeping head in her lap as she brushed her hand through it. She smiled and looked at the view. "It's a beautiful day as well. We no longer have to focus on living day by day, and now can look to the future."

She looked down at your sleeping face, she cupped it. "It's all thanks to you and the others. That the world is without demons... that it's so beautiful now. I wish you could see it. Don't you think it's time to wake up?"

Nezuko's lips started to tremble as she closed her eyes. "Everyone is worried about you, the villagers from the swordsmith village keep visiting you. Hahaha, they and the agents really like you, we're all waiting for you. I'll do anything to have you be with us."

"Can... I have a kiss?" Nezuko's eyes shot open as she looked down to your face. Your eyes were open and you looked at her affectionately. "Hahaha, it's not too much right? We did save the world after all."

"You're awake...! For how long?!" Nezuko started blushing as she held your face. You looked up at her while in her lap.

"Well, I think around the part of Zenitsu, but it was only a brief vision." You said as Nezuko leaned down to your lips. You blushed heavily. "W-Wait! I was just kidding, Nez!"

"I know." she said as she kissed you. You closed your eyes and kissed back. It lasted for a while before you both separated with blushes. "Hehehe, you're gonna have to get used to that."

"Well, I do have years to do so." You smiled and kissed her again.

You were seen a month later, the demon slayer mark was still on your body, but you did not have anymore rage. You couldn't help but just smile all the time. You looked at Tanjiro with Nezuko. "You still holding up okay?"

"Yes! Thank you, Y/n. I'm just glad you're doing okay." Tanjiro said as Nezuko held up one of his arms.

"But you still can't grip with your hand. Just this one? It's wrinkled like an old man's now." she said as Tanjiro looked at it.

"Yeah. But I can lift it up and down." Tanjiro said and looked a lot at his body. "Although I can't feel any touch below the elbow. But it was originally gone before. And my eye also only maintained its form. I can no longer see from it. So you're doing better than me, you two?"

"I am totally fine!" Nezuko said with a smile as you looked at Tanjiro.

"I'm also fine. It's a little weird not training to slay demons but, I'm glad we no longer have to." You said as he nodded.

"Yeah. Everyone's wounds will probably never go away..,Huh.... I still feel very guilty about that." Tanjiro said with his head down.

Nezuko looked at him with a serious look. "Do you think people are worried about that? There's nothing to apologize for anymore. If you say sorry again, they'll only flick your forehead. Ask Y/n."

You held your forehead in fear. "It's true. I was the same way, and then it took a month of Nezuko flicking me in the forehead to me to get over it."

"Ah, really? But you can heal that, right?" Tanjiro asked but Nezuko answered for you.

"Yeah, but I made him stop the regeneration." "You see how dangerous she is as a human." You jokingly said as Nezuko patted your back lightly. "From what I remember, Giyu immediately thought it was over after we attacked the others."

"Ahahaha, I can see that happening." Nezuko said as Tanjiro smiled as well.

"I also thought it was all over several times too, to be honest." Tanjiro said as he remembered something. "According to Yushiro, we were just really lucky. Because Shinobu's medicine was around, and because I bit you first, Nezuko."

"Really?" Nezuko asked as you nodded.

"That's right. Me and Yushiro were theorizing a while about that." You crossed your arms. "We came to the conclusion in which you built up resistance because you went back to being a human after training into a demon."

"Resistance?" Nezuko asked.

"So you're immune to Muzan's cells." Tanjiro explained as Nezuko gut excited.

"Immune!" She shouted as Tanjiro got sad again.

"I hope Yushiro is okay as he just turned around and disappeared... I'm kinda worried," Tanjiro said as you ruffled his hair.

"It'll be fine, he's tough. He'll find his way." You said as Tanjiro looked at you.

"Ah, that reminds me! Giyu and the others aren't around. So you know where they are? They're not in bad shape, are they?" Tanjiro spoke fast. You put your hand up to stop him.

"They're fine. They went to Oyakata's place for their last pillar meeting." You told him but then Uzui and his wives came busting in.

"TANJIRO, Y/N!" Makio shouted with a smile.

"NEZUKO-CHAAAAAAN!!" one of his wives went to hug Nezuko as Uzui patted Tanjiro's head. Makio and you fist bumped each other.

"So you all are going home tomorrow after your discharge, huh?" Uzui said as one of the wives pushed further.

"HEY! MAKE SURE YOU COME VISIT US BEFORE YOU GO!" Makio then hit her in the face as you covers Nezuko's eyes.

"YOUR VOICE IS GODDAMN LOUD!!" she shouted as the wife held her cheek.

"YAAAAGH!! MAKIO HIT ME! TANGEN, DID YOU SEE THAT?! SHE HIT ME!" "I wasn't looking just now." "IDIOT!!!" She shouted as her and Uzui went back and fourth.

The other wife had a snack box wrapped up, and put it in your hands. "Do some and visit us once you settle down. Here's our address and some snack for souvenirs."

You smiled at her. "Whoa! This is a lot! Thank you!"

Senjuro pulled his father into the room. "Hey there! Dad, come on already!"

"Ah! Senjuro and Shinjuro." Tanjiro smiled at them as Uzui looked at Shinjuro.

"What are you holding back for, Sir! Come on, come on!" Uzui said as he put Nezuko on his shoulders. You were hugged by Senjuro.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" You told Shinjuro as he nodded.

"Yeah... Tanjiro, I heard you've been fighting with my son's... Kyoujuro's hilt in hand. Thank you. I'm sure that boy is happy." he stated as Tanjiro put his hands to his own chest.

"OH NO! KYOUJURO'S WORDS HAVE HELPED ENCOURAGE ME SO MANY TIMES." Tanjiro said as he nodded. "I'm the one who should be thankful."

"Yeah. I'd like to apologize for that day I attacked you, Y/n." Shinjuro said as you tilted your head in confusion.

"But that's in the past now, let's just celebrate the present." You smiled as Nezuko blushed a little and Shinjuro smiled.

Zenitsu started to shift. "Nnnnghhhh... so much noise. WAAAAAGH! THE HYOTTOKO BRIGADE IS BACK AGAIN!!! THESE GUYS COME ALMOST EVERY DAY!!"

The swordsmith villagers and the agents all started to fill the room. "AND THERE'S MORE!! WHY'RE YOU ALL SHOWING UP AT THE SAME TIME AS IF YOU PLANNED THIS WHOLE THING?! THE ROOM IS ALREADY CROWDED AS HELL!!"

Soon it was time to go. Miki had to stay at the mansion for a couple more days. You said goodbye to everyone as the day went on. You and the other four were seen standing in a graveyard. Zenitsu complained as usual. "This whole day is never coming to an end! How many graves do you think there are? There's no way we can go to Tanjiro's place today if we're giving everyone flowers."

Inosuke throw some flowers all over the place, "I'M DOING IT, SEE?"

"YOU'RE GONNA GET CURSED IF YOU DO IT LIKE THAT! STOP!!" You rushed after him as Tanjiro and Nezuko laughed. You all kept making your way through the graves. You placed your broken hilt of the lavender sword next to Shinobu's grave. "We won, Master. Thank you, for everything."

While on the way to Tanjiro's house. "Hey, what are you carrying?"

Zenitsu held a wrapped box on his back. "Gramps's ashes."

"Ashes? Can I eat those?" "NO, YOU DUMBASS!!" You and Zenitsu shouted at him. You arrived at the house and you tried not to cry. You put the broke Tessaiga down next to the flowers and the bow on the other side, and the sword in another corner. You all got on your knees and closed your eyes. You put your hands together and your head down, in the middle of Tanjiro and Nezuko.

"Mom, dad, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt, Great Grandpa. Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta. Nezuko, Tanjiro and I managed to get home safely because of the many people that helped us along our journey. I can't help but think of the many lives lost, but thanks to everyone's hard work, our dreams came true. No matter what challenges awaits us in the future, we'll look forward and survive by helping each other. Our lives will forever be entangled with everyone's now, and we will do our best to live. Not only for you, but for ourselves." You thought as everyone you thought off appeared behind you, Nezuko, and Tanjiro.

"Welcome home." The three turned around to see no one as you three looked at each other... and cried. Zenitsu and Inosuke hugged you three. Before you all entered the house, Zenitsu looked around.

"Ehh? This place isn't dirty at all!" he shouted as Tanjiro held a letter.

"Saburouojii and everyone in town keep this place clean apparently. They wrote a letter." Tanjiro said as Nezuko walked around.

"And they even changed all the Tatami mats and shelves. Those aren't cheap..." Nezuko said as you held her hand.

"We'll have plenty of time to go out and say thanks to everyone again." You said as they nodded. Inosuke sniffed around while Zenitsu smiled.

"So this was the house you and Nezuko wee raised in, Tanjiro. So nice and warm." Zenitsu said as Inosuke started to freak out.

"WHAT IS THIS?! IT'S GOT CLAW MARKS ON IT!! THESE ARE BEAST MARKS I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! WATCH OUT!!" Inosuke shotted as Tanjiro explained to him.

"No, Inosuke. This is how our family measured our heights. We even wrote our names so we could know how all we were." Tanjiro said and Inosuke got excited.

"ME TOO, THEN! I'LL SURPASS YOU ALL! NOW GET TO MEASURING!! HURRY, HURRY!" Inosuke shouted as you smiled.

"Well, first off. Get off your tiptoes." You chuckled as Nezuko held your shoulders. 

"Y/n, Onii-Chan, Inosuke, let's do that later." Nezuko said as Inosuke started to sniffle. "We have to clean before the sun sets."

"NOW!! DO IT NOW!!!" Nezuko quickly have in to Inosuke and after, you all started to clean. When night rolled around, you landed on the roof and closed your eyes. Your legs were crossed as you sat on the edge of the roof.

"You know, I don't have a huge dream. It's a quite simple but I think... it's okay. Until their natural death comes, I hope everyone can live their lives in peace. Surviving is the hardest thing to do, but I know they would say the same thing if they my shoes." You said as a hand came and ruffled your hair.

"You really have grown, Squirt." Inuyasha sat next down to you with an arm resting on his knee as his other leg hanged down to the side of the house. "... So you managed to finish the job."

You nodded and kept looking straight. "Yes, but I never could've gotten this far without any of them. When we fought together, smiled together, cried together... I know they were alive. It's because of them that I grew from who I used to be, that I can hold my head up high now."

Kagome sat on the other side of you as Moroha stood above you. You continued."Even after learning I was a demon, even though I struggled and went through hardships, even though I've died multiple times... I was extremely blessed to have been born. I did the best I could do every second, and all that built up to the will that shattered my foes. Without my family by my side, I would've never gotten this far. Mom..."

You smiled at her brightly. "We're gonna be okay. We forgive you."

Moroha started to cry as she kissed your forehead. "Thank you, Y/n. I love you."

She disappeared, Kagome smiled at you. "Keep Nezuko happy, you hear me! You better treat her like a Queen!"

Kagome faded away as Inuyasha looked at you before standing up. "Thank you... for everything."

He faded away and you opened your eyes. You soon heard Nezuko's voice. "Hey! Y/n! We're about to eat!"

"Ah! Coming!" You said as you hopped down from the roof and opened the door. You took one last look at the well, before you smiled and went in the door, closing it behind you. "Live a long wonderful life. Thank you, my family."
