"This is the demon slayer corps headquarters. And you, Tanjiro Kamado...Are about to be... put.... On trial." Shinobu commented on as Tanjiro looked at you awake, but barely breathing. He looked at Shinobu and Giyu to see the slight injures but Shinobu seems to patch herself up.

"There's no need for a trial!" Rengoku shouted. "Protecting a demon is clearly against corps rules! Let's just lop off his head along with the demons."

"I'll cut off his head with style!" Uzui comment. "Even the blood splashes will have panache! Really flashy-flash!"

"Eeeeh? Killing such a cute kid... pains me. It's too much." Mitsuki thought.

"Aw... what pitiful children. How sad. It's a tragedy they were even born." As soon as Gyomei said that, you started shaking around in your restraints. You got the bamboo off by chewing it.

"I would stop struggling. You couldn't beat us the first time, what makes you think you're anywhere near our level?" Rengoku said and you chuckled with blood dripping down the side of your face.

"I beat the Poison Bitch, I can take one of you out and get out of here." You said as Shinobu seemed annoyed and the corps looked at her.

"You didn't say that..." Uzui said as she but stared at you and you stared back.

"No matter what kind of bravado you put on, your eyes tell me that your scared." Shinobu said and looked at Tanjiro, then back at you to see your restrains were loosing. "To move past your fear and attack me was impressive but a hybrid like you interest me."

"No thanks, I'm not into poison freaks, bitches, poison bitches..." You listed as Shinobu took out her sword.

"Can I get this over with?" She said with anger.

"Forget about the hybrid. What are we gonna do about Tomioka? Kocho says Tomioka broke the corps rules too. What shall we do about this? How shall he take responsibility? What price shall he pay?" Iguro said as his snakes hissed. "Right now he's just wandering around freely, and that gives me a headache."

"We needn't worry about him. He came along without a fight. I'm more interested in questioning the boy. We can consider a suitable punishment later." Shinobi said and Tanjiro started coughing.

"Tanjiro, you okay...?" You asked as some of the corps were shook that a demon was asking if a human was hurt.

"Here, drink some water." Shinobu approached Tanjiro. "Your jaw is hurt, so drink slowly... then you can talk. It contains a pain killer, so you'll feel better. Your wound hasn't healed, so don't overdo it. You too, Hybrid."

"Tch, after what you and these bastards did to me, fuck off." You turned your head as Shinobu grabbed your jaw and forced you to look at her.

"You are in no position to be talking. Stay quiet or else you might not be here much longer." She said and dropped you. Tanjiro spoke fast after seeing your growing anger.

"My sister was turned into a demon, Y/n didn't know he was a demon until two years ago! None of them have eaten any human flesh! They haven't ... and they won't! They will never hurt anyone!" Tanjiro shouted lies on your behalf.

"Stop spewing such nonsense. That demon injured a hasira to a great extent. I don't trust anything anyone says-"Maybe that's why I hate you." You commented interrupting the snake pillar.

"He's your friend, and she's your sister! Of course, you'll protect them!" The snake pillar finished.

"Aww... he's possessed by the hybrid. Hurry up and kill this child to set him free." The monk like guy said.

"HEY! IF YOU TOUCH TANJIRO I WILL SHOW NO MERCY!!" You shouted as Rengoku chuckled.

"And what is that supposed to do? You're only digging your grave six feet deeper." He stated as Tanjiro got worried.

"PLEASE, HEAR ME OUT!! ME AND Y/N BECAME SWORDSMEN SO WE COULD PROTECT NEZUKO!! IT'S BEEN MORE THAN TWO YEARS SINCE THE TWO BECAME A DEMON! IN ALL THAT TIME, THEY HAVEN'T BITTEN ANYONE!" Tanjiro shouted.

"This conversation is just spinning in circles. They hasn't bitten anyone? And they aren't going to? Just words! Show me! Impress me!" Uzui said and Mitsuki looked around.

"I'm not sure about this. The master of the mansion must be aware of this... so should we really handle it on our own?" She said as everyone looked at her. "Shouldn't we wait until he gets back?"

"MY SISTER AND FRIEND HAVE FOUGHT ALONGSIDE ME! THEY CAN FIGHT FOR THE DEMON SLAYER CORPS AND PROTECT PEOPLE!!" Tanjiro shouted as you heard footsteps.

"Saaay... this is getting sorta interesting."

"No, Lord Shinazugawa! Please, put down the box!" An agent shouted at him.

"Is that the idiotic corps member who travels with demons?" The man held Nezuko's box as you got ready to escape and Shinobu saw this. "Just what is going on here anyway?"

"Lady Kocho, we apologize!"

"Shinazugawa, don't do anything rash." Shinobu said angrily as you got your claws out.

"What about these demons, boy? You say that can protect people and fight for the corps? That's incredible! Amazing! Why, that's..."  He took out the sword. "COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE, YOU FOOL!!"

He stabbed Nezuko and you immediately broke out of your rope restraints and immediately dashed for your Tessaiga. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!"

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE A HASHIRA OR WHATEVER! I WON'T LET ANYONE HURT MY SISTER!!" Tanjiro dashed for him as well as you got ready to use the 2nd form.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! OH NO? GOOD!"

"STOP! THE MASTER WILL BE HERE SOON!!" Giyu shouted and that made the wind pillar stop but you still swung. Your blade clashed with his as Tanjiro lept off your back and slammed his forehead on Shinazugawa's face.  He went flying back as you gripped the Tessaiga and approached him.

"IF YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOOD DEMON AND A BAD DEMON... THEN YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE HASHIRA!!" Tanjiro shouted and Shinazugawa charged at him.

"WHY YOU... YOU'RE DEAD!!" She shouted when a wave of fire barely missed his head and he kept back. Everyone looked to see a shadow over your eyes.

"You bastard! I won't forgive you! I won't! I won't! I won't! I won't!!" You shouted as The Tessaiga lit on fire again and a purple aura dragon engulfed the flames and mixed with them. Just as you dashed at Shinazugawa's neck...

"THE MASTER OF THE MANSION HAS ARRIVED." A girl shouted as a man walked in. You swung your sword and stopped at Shinazugawa's neck, keeping your same glare.

"Welcome... my dear demon slayers. It feels like a beautiful day. The sky is a perfect blue, isn't it?" The man said. "It makes me very happy that we can have our twice yearly hashira meeting... without any members having changed."

"Eh? Who the fuck are-?!" You felt your body pulse in and out And dodged the hand coming to you, forcing you to the ground. Sanemi kept trying to force you down but you kept dodging, he gave up and kneeled. As did everyone else, but Sanemi pushed down Tanjiro. You still kept your sword bright in case...

"Master, I sincerely pray for your increased happiness. It is good to see you so healthy." Sanemi said as the master thanked him. "I'm sorry, but... before the hashira meeting, would you be so kind as to tell us... about this corps member who travels with a demon and a hybrid, Tanjiro Kamado?"

"Yes. My apologies for surprising you. I have accepted Tanjiro, Y/n, and Nezuko. And I want everyone else to do the same." He said as everyone was taken back, even you.

"Ahh... even though my master requests it... I cannot consent." The monk man said.

"I, too, must stylishly oppose. I can't accept a corps member consorting with a demon." Uzui said.

"I will do anything you say, Master!" Mitsuki gleamed.

"No matter what happened... I'll forget right away." The mist man commented.

"I can't believe it. More than anything... I hate demons." The snake asshole said,

"Master, I respect you from the bottom of my heart; but I do not understand this. I am against it... With all my strength!" Rengoku said with a smile still.

"The demon slayer corps kill demons. Please, punish all Kamado, Tomioka, and Higurashi." Sanemi was not having it.

"Well then... the letter." The man said as a girl pulled out a letter.

"They letter arrived from former hashira Sakonji Urokodaki. I will read a portion of it. '..Please forgive Tanjiro for being with his sister and his friend who are both demons. Through strong spiritual strength, Nezuko and Y/n maintain her human reason. Even when starving, they refuse to eat people. They has persisted in this way for more than two years. I also forgive any trouble Y/n may cause, he is very hard headed and impulse like Senemi. I'm sure you all know what that means, nevertheless, the truth of the matter of Y/n is that he wasn't aware he was a demon before 2 years ago. Y/n was placed with a seal that prevented his demon side from being unleashed and even with it gone, Y/n fights to protect others and put himself last. I'm sure you are aware of the demon Toga, I'm informing you that Y/n is the great grandson of that same demon. But, he is mostly human, much is unknown about Toga's demons, but Y/n has human blood in him from a human father and a quarter demon. A demon with human heart is something that all demons should fear. It is difficult to understand, but it is undeniably the truth. Should Nezuko and Y/n ever kill someone, together with Tanjiro Kamado...I, Sakonji Urokodaki, and Giyu Tomioka will make amends by slicing open our stomachs."

The flame on The Tessaiga went out snd you looked at Giyu, with tears. "Damn... old man."

You kneeled as well and tried to wipe away your tears. Sanemi gritted his teeth. "So what if he'll commit Seppuku?! If he wants to die, he can rot! It doesn't prove a thing!"

"Shinazugawa is right!" Rengoku agreed. "If they kill and eat someone, it's irreversible! The dead won't come back!"

"That is correct. I cannot guarantee or confirm that they will not kill people." The master said. "However, you cannot prove that they will attack people. It is a fact that they have not bitten anyone for over two years and three people have staked their lives on them. If you would regret this... then you must offer something greater than Urokodaki's promise. Furthermore, Tanjiro and Y/n has crossed paths with Kibutsuji."

"NO WAY!!"

"ARE YOU SAYING THAT THOUGH NO MEMBER OF HASHIRA HAS EVER FACED HIM, THESE KIDS HAVE?!"

"WHAT DID HE LOOK LIKE?! WHAT ABILITIES DID HE HAVE?! WHERE IS HE?!"

"Did you fight?"

"WHAT WAS KIBUTSUJI DOING?!"

"DID YOU FIND HIS LAIR?!"

You said nothing and still kneeled. Shinobu and Giyu looked at you in shock, that you weren't yelling or raging. You were... calm.

"HEY! DAMN MUTT! ANSWER ME!"

"SHUT UP! I ASKED FIRST!"

"START WITH KIBUTSUJI'S ABILITIES, AND THEN..."

"Shh...." The master shut everyone up. "Kibutsuji has sent his forces after Y/n and Tanjiro. I'm sure you're aware that Y/n is a demon but isn't burning in the sunlight."

"Now that you mention it...!"

"I assume Muzan wishes to eat Y/n so he can gain the immunity to the sun, if that becomes the case, we will be in grave danger." The man said as the hashira realized your importance to this world. "He may wish to silence Tanjiro... but for the first time, Kibutsuji has shown his tail and we have grabbed it. I don't want to let it go. And it's possible Kibutsuji's seen something unexpected in Nezuko as well. Do you understand?"

"NO, MASTER, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!" Sanemi gritted his teeth and slashed his arm. "LETTING A HUMAN LIVE IS ONE THING, BUT NOT A DEMON. I CANNOT AGREE! THERE IS NOTHING NORMAL ABOUT IT! MASTER! DEMONS ARE UGLY AND UNTRUSTWORTHY! I'LL PROVE IT YOU! HEY, DEMON! TIME TO EAT! COME TAKE A BITE!!"

You stood up as Sanemi dripped his blood on the box. The snake pillar looked at him. "Shinazugawa... it won't work in the light. If you don't go into the shade, the demon won't come out."

"My apologies... master. I serve you." Sanemi took the box into the safe and took his sword out.

"NEZUKO!!!" Tanjiro shouted but the snake man elbows him in the back, holding him down. You had a shadow over your eyes as Rengoku tried to hold you back and you effortlessly dodged his grab.

"?!" Everyone was shocked and the next minute you were seen standing next to Nezuko when she came out. You grabbed Sanemi's eyes and he gritted at you.

"What do you think you're doing?!" He said as you ignored everyone else and put his hand to Nezuko's face. Nezuko looked at your glare at the man and turned away from the blood arm. She then started messing with your ears to distract her.

"What happened?" The master asked.

"The demon girl turned away." The girl explained. "Shinazugawa stabbed her three times and then offered his bloody arm for her to feed, but she controlled herself and didn't bite. Higurashi came and grabbed Shinazugawa's arm but didn't seem to have any desire to bite, only rage for him."

"In that case.." A sudden snap was heard and Sanemi held his arm, you let go.

"YOU LITTLE-!" "Master, can I kill him?" You spoke cold and put away The Tessaiga.

"No, Higurashi, he's had enough punishment with his broken arm. You and Nezuko have proved you won't kill people, you can calm down now." Master said and you took a deep breath and calmed down. "Tanjiro... nevertheless, some will still view Nezuko and Y/n unfavorably... proof was needed, and now we have it. So... from now on, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Y/n will fight for the Demon Slayer Corps together. Defeat one of the twelve kizuki. If you do they will accept your words and recognize the value of your presence."

"I SWEAR... NEZUKO, Y/N, AND I WILL DEFEAT MUZAN KIBUTSUJI! WE WILL NOT FAIL!! I'LL USE MY BLADE TO BREAK THE CHAIN OF SADNESS!" "You're not ready for that yet. For now, defeat one of the twelve kizuki." The master stopped Tanjiro from getting too excited.

"It goes without saying that the hasira in the hashira in the demon slayer corps are extremely talented. Through laborious training, they have improved themselves, defied death... and defeated members of the twelve kizuki. That is why people respect and warmly welcome the hashira. Tanjiro, Y/n, you must be careful how you speak." The master said and you nodded. "Sanemi and Obanai... do not be mean to younger children."

"Understood."

"That is enough talk on this subject, Tanjiro, Y/n... you may leave. It is time for the hashira council to begin." The master said and Shinobu smiled.

"Kamado and Higurashi can wait for us in my mansion." She said and you and Tanjiro were taken off guard.

"Huh?" You both said as she clapped her hands. You immediately leaped high in the air as the agent only grabbed Tanjiro instead.

"OKAY, TAKE THEM AWAY!" She shouted.

"Well. The Hashira council is-"PLEASE, WAUT A SECOND! I'M NOT DONE YET!! I STILL OWN THAT GUY WITH ALL THE SCARS A FEW MORE HEADBUTTS! ONE FOR EACH TIME HE STABBED NEZUKO!" Tanjiro refused to go. "I DOUBT HEADBUTTS ARE AGAINST CORPS RULES!!"

He was suddenly hit with pebbles in the face and fell down. "Interrupting the master is considered quite rude."

The agents took you all to the Butterfly Mansion, reuniting with the crew was the easy part. Nezuko slept a long time and you finally healed your bones without Aoi's help because... "NO NEEDLES!!!!!"

You couldn't handle the needles, or the smell of poison. Zenitsu fussed more than everyone combined, Inosuke's throat was crushed so he was depressed. You all incouraged him and that was the daily routine...,until a visitor came. Murata surprisingly survived and had to face a detailed report on the events on Mount Natagumo during the Hashira meeting. All he did was complain and you when Shinobu arrived, Murata left immediately. Speaking of Shinobu, you kept an eye on her because you could smell her following you all over. You wondered if she was trying to kill you, and was hiding her bloodlust. Unknown to you, Shinobu would constantly check in on you during your sleep, as if she was trying to figure out how a demon hybrid. When you were awake, you would always glare at her and she still glared at you at times.

"You shouldn't make an enemy out of hasira!" An agent shouted at you and you ignored the extra. Soon...

"It's time for rehabilitation training!" She said with a smile but you found yourself standing face to face with Shinbou with rage. "Oh? What's wrong, Higurashi? Can you not beat me like you did before? I guess you are just bark after all."

"GRR!!! I'LL SHOW YOU!!" You shouted as you immediately sat down at a table with cups of tea as Shinobu sat down at the other side and she immediately slashed you with tea before you could even see. "GRRRRR!! THIS TIME!"

You picked up a cup with a smile but Shinobu put her hand over it and splashed you again. That was your training, while everyone trained with Aoi and Kanao, it seemed Shinobu was still holding a grudge from before. When you did the full body training. "Fuck this! Use your breathing, dumbass!"

"THIS TIME I'LL GET YOU!!!" You shouted and Shinobu ran in front of you.

"Oh? Really? Then show me." She teased and you got even more pissed.

"I have to really use total concentration breathing, the whole time I'm moving! Every step, every sound, everything I do! Use more of demon blood to get it higher!!!" You concentrated to use your breathing like second nature as you increased your demon power. Shinobu saw the speed was starting to keep up with her and increased as well. Shinobu lept on the wall and bounced off of it to get away, you jumped from the ground straight to the ceiling. She quickly pushed her body to the floor and you jumped to the ground using the ceiling. You reached out your hand to grab her but Shinobu's feet landed on the ground first and he leaped away. You smirked and span your body, as soon as your foot left the ground you sped at Shinobu and tackled her. "GOTCHA!!!"

You both crashed through the window and Aoi looked in worry. "SHINBOU!!!!!"

"Man, this is stupid." You said with your arms behind your head, looking at the night sky. "Damn needle woman! Why does everyone..."

"Hate you? I'm sure the master told you about this earlier." Shinobu sat next to you and you paid her no mind. "Ignoring me? Wow, just like Tomioka."

"Why are you bothering me?" You said bluntly. Shinobu laid down as well and looked at the sky. She didn't answer right away, pondering how to word it.

"Me and you don't really seem eye to eye, do we?" She said and you nodded. "From what I heard, you've changed drastically from how you used to be."

"Blame my granddad." You said coldly again.

"I don't think that's it, is it?" She asked and you didn't say anything at first.

"No. I needed to prove to myself, and lie." You said and still looked at the stars. "Lie that everything's gonna be okay. Lie and say that I can get through anything if I close myself off. Lie when I say that I don't care if I die... as long as others live. I'm more selfish than I like, and so lying to myself gets rid of my weakness."

"Hm..." She looked at you and nodded. "Yep. You have a bit of an anger issue and bad manners, but you're exactly the kinda kid I thought you'd be. I'm sure you and Kamado can follow my dreams. Of human and demons getting along."

"Sounds like a fictional dream." You said and she looked at you with a smirk.

"But you're here, aren't you?" She said and you stayed silent. "I've already talked to Tanjiro-Chan, so I guess I wanted to see what he meant when he said you and I were alike. I'm sure he was talking about the hatred, and anger building up inside us."

She stood up and looked at you. "Keep defending, Nezuko, and try and prove the others wrong."

"Sure." You said with your eyes still closed and she went away. You watched as Tanjiro masters Total Concentration Constant after you did, more like you both did it around the same time. Only you used your demon side more to harness it in base form. Nine days later and it was time to head off... well not quite...

"Nezuko... why do you do this?" You asked as she put your head in her lap again. She glided her hands in your hair. "Is it because you can't take off my necklace, or is it something else?"

She seemed unamused and pinched your forehead. "OWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!"

She stopped and you shot up and glared at her. "Ever since you read my notebook you've been-! You've...you...."

You saw Nezuko's face coming towards you as her eyes were closed. You were blushing and you were stupid, but you weren't stupid enough to not know what she wanted. "You cocky demon, you read the part I scribbled out?"

She nodded with her eyes closed. "Mhm!"

You sighed and grabbed her shoulders. "Here I go."

"Okwm!"

"I'm going."

"Mhmmhm!"

"I'm coming. I'm gonna do it." Your voice was heard as Tanjiro felt something was wrong and looked at Inosuke.

"..." Nezuko looked at you unamused as you were shaking with a blushing red face. She's never seen you this nervous but before she could do anything.

"Y/NNNNNN!!!" You turned around to see Tanjiro and Zenitsu pick you up. "HELP!! INOSUKE TRAPPED HIMSELF IN THE LAUNDRY BASKET!!!"

"Wha-?" Before you could ask, you saw Inosuke running down the hall.

"HA HA!! THIS ARMOR IS SURE TO COME IN HANDY!!" He ran down the halls at quick speed, you quickly dashed out the door faster than. Tanjiro and Zenitsu could see.

"GET BACK HERE, BOAR!!" You shouted as Zenitsu ran after you. Nezuko got up silently and looked at Tanjiro. Tanjiro looked down at her.

"Eh? What's wrong?!" He asked and saw Nezuko's angry pouting face as she started hitting Tanjiro's chest before running off after you. "EH?! EHHHHH?! WHAT DID I DO, NEZUKO?!"
