You and Tanjiro are seen walking around in the village you both were assigned to. A couple minutes ago, Nezuko hopped out and muffled her way into wanting you to carry her. So here you were, carrying Nezuko on your back. "Hey, Tanjiro. Look at that man."

"Hm?" Tanjiro looked at the staggering man who was walking all sorts of ways.

"Look. Kazumi is so pitifully haggard." A woman said loudly. You didn't need to reveal your dog ears to hear that one.

"Because he was with Satoko when she disappeared." The other lady said and you started piecing together the situation. "Night after night. It's so creepy."

"Yes, it's awful!" The lady replied as you grabbed Kasumi's shoulder. "When night comes... another young girl will disappear."

"Hey," You told him as he turned around to yours and Tanjiro's determined faces. "We need to talk with you."

The man, after you explained to him, led you both to the crime scene. "This is where Satoko disappeared. You may not believe me, but..."

"I believe you!" Tanjiro shouted as he bowed on the ground. "I absolutely believe you!! Truly!"

Tanjiro sniffed the ground and you crossed your arms. You could smell the faint odor of demons but it was different than ones you've faced before. "Hmm... demons usually come at night. I doubt we'd get anything until then."

And sure enough at night, "MMMMMGH!"

Your demon ears sprung up and you immediately leaped in the air. You manipulated your demon energy into your jumps, which allowed you to seemingly glide over long distances. You also manipulated it slow your decent.

You looked at Tanjiro who was still running on the ground. "TANJIRO!!! LET'S GO!"

"RIGHT!" He said as the man got confused.

"Whoa! How is he-?! Wait! What happened?!" The man asked with confusion.

"THE SMELL IS GETTING STRONGER!!! IT'S A DEMON!!!" He shouted as you made it to the site way before Tanjiro.

"Okay, he's not too far gone. Both scents are still here!" You said as your took out the Tessaiga and transformed it. You aimed it at the ground. "Unfortunately for you demons, I maxed out my senses, so I know exactly where YOU ARE!!"

You plunged Tessaiga into the ground. "GYAAAAHHH!!"

A black puddle formed up underneath the spot you sliced and the girl popped up. You quickly grabbed her and landed pretty far from the hand trying to drag her back down. A demon popped up as a wound was in the shoulder. "Hey, that hole in your shoulder looks good on you! You should keep it!"

"Y/N!!" Tanjiro made it onto the scene.

"Demons with powerful abilities, blood arts. I wonder what mine is, if I have one." You smiled with your canine fangs. "Either way, you need to tell us about the girls you took!"

Before you could say any more, the demon started grinding its teeth together making a loud screeching noise. "Kazumi! Take the girl!"

"H-Huh?!" You threw the girl to him and he caught her.

"Stay close to us! If you're in our reach, we can protect you!" Tanjiro shouted explaining the plan. You took the other side of the villagers as Tanjiro covers the front.

"I'll have to rely on my senses here. I can't see them at all times, and they can probably come out of anywhere. The only solution is to guess where they're gonna be and smell them." You smelled the air and ran towards Tanjiro. Four suddenly popped out. "Demon breathing 1st form: KENATSU!!!"

A wave of demon energy came out of your blade as Tanjiro jumped. The demons quickly ducked before the attack reached them but you took off at least three horns. "Damn, just missed them. Tanjiro, you smell it too, right?"

"Yeah." He said and covered his side again. "All smell the same, but demons don't team up, so he must split himself into four!"

"Ahah!!" The demon showed up on your side.

"Demon breathing 3rd form! Wiping death!!" You leaped at a wall and kicked off of it. You twists your body into a vertical spin at fast speeds. You slice the back of the demon before you almost make it through. "Damn it! Any more and I'll go through the swamp!"

The demon tried to pull you under but you quickly flipped in the air out of it.

"HEY YOU DAMN MUTT!!" You looked at the demon. "WHAT IS A HUMAN AND A DEMON DOING HAVING A KID?! HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!? AND WHY ARE YOU WORKING WITH A HUMAN?!"

"Why don't you stand still and make this easy for me!?" You shouted with a cocky smile.

"DON'T INTERFERE!!! YOU'LL RUIN THE GIRL'S FRESHNESS!!" He shouted showing his fangs, but you did the same, and yours was sharper. "SHE IS ALREADY SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!! SHE GETS LESS AND LESS TASTY WITH EACH MOMENT THAT PASSES!!!"

"I just calm down." A demon appeared on Tanjiro's side. "Oh well. Never mind. There's always tonight. I've eaten quite a few sixteen year old girls in this town. They were all meaty and quite tasty! Good enough for me."

"WELL, NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!" The demon on your side shouted. "I'M STILL HUNGRY!!!"

"You monster... let's Satoko go..." Kazumi shouted. "You took her two nights ago!"

"Satoko? Who is that?" You noticed a demon on the roof as you tried to pretend you didn't to get the drop on him. The demon with one horn smiled and opened is rope to reveal... "If her hairpin is among this collection, I've already eaten her."

Tanjiro got pissed and you smelled the ground. "TANJIRO MOVE!!"

Tanjir moved behind and dodges a deadly strike from the demon. He quickly sliced off the arm as you went to help him, a demon grabbed your throat and tried to impale you. "GHHHGH!!"

"Time for my favorite form so far!! Demon breathing 7th form!!" You blocked the attack with your Tessaiga sending you back but uninjured. The Tessaiga glowed black at the bottom but only a small part of it. Another demon tried to slice you from the ground as you blocked the attack again, once again, The Tessaiga turned more black. One came out from the wall as you sliced the shoulder down diagonally, the black filled up more. You saw The Tessaiga was black filled and you heard the four horned demon leaping behind you to bite your neck. You quickly turned around and sliced the chest upwards, deep. "ADAPT AND CONQUER!!!"

"Heh, you think something like this won't heal...?" The demon said as he suddenly... didn't feel any healing. "Huh...? BFGH-! BWAAAAHGHH!!"

The demon spit out blood as he fell to the ground dying. You smirked as the sword when back to silver. "Pretty cool right? The Tessaiga can absorb sunlight and demonic energy, but I can only use it in forms since I'm less demon than you are. When I strike in this form, I prevent the regeneration factors in your body from activating and cut off any connection you have to the body from a severed piece."

While you were tormenting the fallen demon, the two horned demon rose and tried to strike at you behind, but a beautifully came out of the box and kicked its head around. The demon's neck was cut as Nezuko hopped out of the box. "Thanks for that one, Nez."

Nezuko nodded before walking up to Kazumi and the girl, the image of her brother and sister formed in her eyes and she held their faces. She gained a pissed look and it was kinda hot, although you'd never tell her that... Yet.

"It may only help to console her, but I placed Nezuko under a suggestion while she was alseep. 'All humans are your family. Protect humanity. Pure demons are your enemy. Never forgive demons for the harm they do." Urokodaki's voice rang in your head as you remembered. Nezuko raised her leg to kick the demon before she missed.

"NEZUKO!! DON'T FOLLOW IT!! COME BACK!!" Tanjiro shouted as Nezuko came running to you and the demon tried attacking her, Nezuko flipped over it and landed next to you.

"Nezuko is a demon... more of a demon then me..." You thought to yourself. "She wants to help and isn't weak anymore. I can't babysit her all the time. After all, she's trusting me protecting her even though I'm a demon, so I have to trust her back."

Suddenly, a puddle opened under Tanjiro. "TANJIRO!"

"Y/N! NEZUKO! I'M GOING UNDER!! PROTECT THEM!!" Tanjiro went under as you gripped Tessaiga.

"Alright, Nezuko! Im counting on you!" You shouted as you charged towards the one demon remaining.

"Mhm!" Nezuko mumbled and you think she's okay with it. You couldn't really tell what she said. The demon went underground as you immediately smelled he went for Nezuko.

"NEZ! JUMP!!" You shouted and she did so. The demon popped out as you rushed it. "Demon breathing 6th form!! DEMONIC RAMPAGE!!"

You dashed towards the demon at incredible speeds. Once in front of it, you attacked the demon three times; one strike vertically, one diagonally, and one last devastating horizontally blow. The attacks got stronger each swing, the third one being the strongest. But the strikes got slower until it's last and finally blow. The demon was sent flying back as Nezuko suddenly kicked the back of the demon, sending it back for you to slice down on it, to charge the Tessaiga for 7th form. "Damn it! What's with the teamwork!? Demons aren't supposed to work together!! Why the hell is that mutt stronger than me?! Do they both trust each other so much that they don't need to speak to attack!? DAMN IT!! THEY'RE SO FAST I CAJT SUBMERGE INTO THR BOG! TOO UNPREDICTABLE!! THEY'RE JUGGLING ME AROUND LIKE A BALL!!"

You got ready to slice the neck but remembered something, "Damn, I almost forgot we need answers. Maybe this demon can talk..."

The demon tried to scratch Nezuko's neck but you quickly used the 7th form to slice off its arms and legs and stop their regeneration. You glared at the Demon after leaping in front of Nezuko. "Keep your hands off my Nez-!"

You started to say but then you saw Nezuko smiling brightly at you from the corner of your eye and coughed. "Keep your hands off Nezuko!"

Nezuko lost the smile and gave you an unamused look. You ignored her cute glare and unamused face and kicked the demon to the wall. "How many have you pathetic demons killed? I can tell you right now, and if you lie, I could kill you."

"Damn! What's up with this kid...!?" The demon started to panic as Tanjiro patted you on the back.

"Nice job, Y/n." He said and you nodded. The demon glared at you all. "Now, you're gonna pay for what you've done here."

"IF YOU LET WOMEN AGE, THEY GET UGLY AND TASTE TERRIBLE!! THAT'S WHY WE ATE THEM!!! YOU SHOULD THANK USSS!!" You immediately cut open his jaw and remembered something.

"Only one demon in this world... has blood... that can turn humans into demons." Urokodaki said. "The one who became the first demon.. over a thousand years ago. In other words, Tanjiro, it is that demon who killed your family. And I think... he knows the way to return your sister's humanity. This demon's name is..."

"Tell me what you know about Muzan Kibutsuji!! Tell me now!!" You pointed your sword at him and he looked in disbelief.

"You-YOU! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT NAME?!" He shouted as you sliced his mouth again. "GAAAH!! I c-can't."

You heard his heartbeat get faster and faster. "I CAN'T TELL YOU!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU!!!"

He tried impaling you with the horn but you sliced his head off and put away the Tessaiga. "Damn, still didn't learn anything."

"NEZUKO!" Tanjiro shouted as you both ran towards a wall. "Whew, she's just sleeping. The bleeding has stopped."

"She must use sleep to heal herself as well." You said as you glided your hands through the top of her hair. "You still surprise me."

You gave the box to Tanjiro and he put Nezuko in it. Then he started walking to the man. You tuned out the man's words, because in reality, what did you know about loss? You didn't lose anyone, that was all Tanjiro... nothing really changed for you... did it? Suddenly, your raven came soaring down on your shoulder at light speed. "NEXT STOP IS ASAKUSA IN TOKYO!! RUMORS TELL OF DEMONS HIDING THERE!! KAAAAW!!"

"Tanjiro!" You shouted and he looked at you. "I have a mission. I gotta go."

"Wait! But-!" He said as you looked at him.

"I'm sure your crow will tell you the same thing." Your raven told Tanjiro. "When the old man gets here."

"Alright, bye!" You started to say and went to run off only to be stopped by Tanjiro who pointed to the box on his back. "...fine..." You patted the top of the box. "See you later, Nezuko."

You then sprinted off to Asakusa. Faster than most expect for a hybrid. It gave you time to think. "I wonder if Sis is still taking that train job...?"
