The call was quick and easy but for some reason hen suggested that buck drive the truck home with you "hey buck can you take this one back I'm gonna ride with chim and cap"
"Uh yeah. Yeah sure I guess.. come on" he gestures at you and you climb in and are on your way..
the ride is silent and awkward since no one is saying a word..

Y/N: crazy calls huh sorry is that stupid? I don't know what else to say...

Buck: (chuckles) no I know I feel like that all the time when it comes to having to talk to you.

Y/N: am I really that scary?

Buck: nah you're the caps daughter I don't want to say something wrong or whatever. When he told us you were coming to the 118 he pulled me aside and basically pulled the whole "hands off my daughter" thing..

Y/N: he's like that he thinks im 15.. but I wasn't exactly trying to jump your bone or anything I just wanted to loosen the tension between us..

Buck: (nervously and quick) yeah yeah no me too not jump my own bone but like you yeah you're attractive and stuff but sorry.. I'm just going to stop talking

Y/N: I get it (laughing)

You arrive back at the station and climb out and head to the lockers to get all your stuff ready for the end of your shift and you write your number down on a piece of paper..
You see buck in his locker and walk over to him

Y/N: hey! Here .. (handing him paper) it's my number.. text me if you want..

buck: I will (big smile)

You see buck bite his lip and stick the note in his pocket.
