You wake up and you're in a hospital bed with buck by your side holding your hand and resting his head in the other hand you move a bit and he wakes up.

Y/n: hey.. how bad is it

Back: you hit the back of your head so it's a good thing your not bald.

You smile and laugh at him. The doctor walks in to talk to you

Dr: hi! Glad to see your up the bump wasn't too severe 3 stitches closed it right up Just take it easy you might get light headed even more now.. your hemoglobin levels were kind of low which would explain the passing out and dizziness so we're going to send you home with some iron supplements to help out.. also blood work came back to show that you're around 7 weeks pregnant but don't worry everything looks great nothing to be worried about.. congratulations. Let me know

The doctor walks out of the room

Buck: so that brings me to the next topic.. your text I guess that's confirmed.. we're having a baby.

Y/n: yeah I'm sorry I didn't know what to say or even how to say it I'm sorry

Buck: don't be sorry if anything it's my fault. I just don't want you feeling like you can't tell me anything.. I'm always here for you. And I'm going to be here for everything and raise this baby with you.

Y/n: I'm scared look at this job and my dad it's so much..

Buck: we're going to figure it out not right away but we will. I love you both.

Y/n: we love you too

Buck : but we need to tell your dad you can't be going out on calls like that

Y/n: I will soon not yet..

A silence hits and Bobby walks into your room.

Bobby: y/n! You're okay good I was worried
But I'm glad you're doing okay what did the doctor say?

Y/n: she just said I need to take some iron supplements and I'll be good as new!

Bobby: that's great.. Evan thank you

Buck: for what cap?

Bobby: for being you and running into that building to save her..

Buck: there's nothing I wouldn't do to keep her safe. Bullet, fire, storm she's safe with me..

Bobby: y/n you should take the rest of the week off and rest..

Y/n: dad.. that's not necessary I'm fine

Bobby: Captains orders.

Buck: he's right.. you need to take it easy don't worry we'll handle it.

Bobby smiles and walks out of the room.

Y/n: ok why do I feel like he's not going to tell me anything house related during this whole week off

Buck: because he's not .. and neither am I test up the house isn't your worry right now..
(Leans in to whisper in your ear) your worry is your recovery and our baby.

Buck kisses you on the cheek and then on the lips and smiles at you. You smile back at him.

The visit ends and buck goes home you lay in the bed looking forward to your release tomorrow.. the thoughts of having to reveal to your dad that you're not going to be able to work to your full potential scares you.. but you drift off to sleep anyways with that on your mind..
