So much has gone on in the department since you've been gone people have been arrested Lucy is on leave. Maddy is back and living with chim.. you've been speaking to buck here and there he has been attending appointments and being there with you as much as possible.
It was early in the morning before shift and you had decided to call Eddie since hen wasn't answering

Eddie: sup y/n everything good

Y/n: yeah it's good just thinking about buck a lot and missing him.. i understand if you want to hang up now
You laugh a little

Eddie: I wouldn't hang up on you and your feelings. I understand.. Have you talked to him

Y/n: not since yesterday but I think I'm gonna call him and tell him I love him.. I really do love him a lot..

Eddie: do it if that's how you feel don't let anything get in the way of that. Not even this crazy storm.

Y/n: you're right thanks Eddie I'm gonna call.. have a good shift tell Christopher I said hi!

You then hang up on Eddie to call buck you go to his contact and hit call it rings once and he picks up immediately

Buck: hey what's wrong everything ok? Is the baby ok?

Y/n: good morning yes everything is okay relax.

Buck: okay good what's up ?

Y/n: I miss you evan.. and I'm sorry that I've been so upset it was a mistake and I should have taken your word for it and I just need to see you..

Buck: when my shift ends.. I'll be there right away. I love you and I'm so sorry

Y/n: I know you are and I love you too.. I'm sorry for everything okay. Please just come see me when you're off and be careful okay this storm is so bad..

Buck: I'll be careful I promise I love you both. I'll see you after okay.

You hang up on buck and continue the day in the house cleaning washing things and ordering baby furniture.

Hours later it's late and the storm seems to be picking up and you receive a phone call from your dad.

Y/n: hey dad what's going on

Captain nash: it's buck he's been hurt

You quickly hang up and race to the hospital crying in the car and trying to pull it together. But you can feel your heart racing and sinking deeper into your stomach.. part of you is hoping for the best but you can't help but to think of the worst possible outcome.
