Ann Grace Callan never thought she would make it to the Wild West. After her mothers death, Grace and Doctor William McArty, a friend of her mother, make their way west to the Nebraska territory to a town called Sweetwater. While adjusting to being a full time nurse at 18, seeing the unknowns of the west, and trying to figure out her place with the Civil War looming, she meets the riders at the Pony Express. Gamblers, Marshalls, gunslingers, and bounty hunters all roam the area, making life uneventful in the small town of Sweetwater with a nurse and riders for the Pony Express. * THIS BOOK IS LOOSELY BASED AROUND THE 1989 SHOW THE YOUNG RIDERS. After two years of small crime and no appearances from Batman and Blue Jay, a threat on the city makes the two lovers come out of hiding for the first time, a threat big enough to shake the two. Old villains and new ones, join forces to take down the hero's of Gotham, and their true identities, once and for all.
