The Guardians: Invisible Strings
The story so far:The Tactical Defense Force (TDF), also known colloquially as: The Guardians; a private militia, commanded by Jeremy Torres, better known by his nom de guerre, Kid Zap; once designed to protect their closest friends from devious rivals and outside interference, now repurposed to protect the world.Unknowingly, they have been hired by a "Shadow Client" to target a number of operatives of the White Hand, a secret organization working in the highest echelons of power.White Hand's controller, Earl Adler, otherwise known as: The Puppeteer, approaches one of the latest additions to the Guardians and makes them a deal: Eliminate the Shadow Client and his milita in order to learn about the past of the Guardians' second-in-command, Misaki Moon, otherwise known as: Moonlark.But the Guardians then discovered that the Shadow Militia is commanded by Grant Shepherd, one of Moonlark's lost childhood friends. And so, the Guardians switch sides to fulfil an old pact: Destroy the White Hand and free the world from its grasp.Together, they manage to capture The Puppeteer, forcing him to reveal the identities of the three founders of the White Hand.Their latest mission is simple: Eliminate them, and the war would be over.However, The Puppeteer has an ace up his sleeve, one that might ultimately cost someone's life.
The Guardians: Defiance
The story so far:Jeremy Torres, otherwise known as: Kid Zap, leads a group known as the Guardians, a private military force designed to handle missions that are deemed impossible for even the world's finest to resolve. However, things took a drastic turn when a number of certain missions happened to be nothing more than mere "contracts" for a "shadow client". The villains that the Guardians have taken on in those missions were later revealed to be operatives working for an invisible organization, colloquially known as the White Hand. This organization has infiltrated the highest echelons of power, and as of right now, they secretly have achieved what no other villain from any form of media has been able to accomplish: World domination. However, their biggest obstacle happens to be the aforementioned "shadow client", who had waged a silent war against them. And so, the White Hand decided to seek out help from the Guardians.

Book 1 of my (upcoming) take on Tom Clancy's The Division.Synopsis:On Black Friday 2015, a viral epidemic, transmitted by a virus planted on banknotes, sweeps through New York City. The disease, known as "The Dollar Flu", causes widespread chaos, and major cities are placed under quarantine. The US Government activates sleeper agents in the population who operate for the Strategic Homeland Division, or simply "The Division", to assist emergency responders and National Guardsmen, and the Joint Task Force (JTF), in restoring order. Among these agents are Jeremy and James "Jim" Gagne, two upstart brothers who had joined to help New York's citizens live normal lives. The two brothers and other agents undertake assignments to rescue important personnel, help in restoring the base of operations to full working capacity and combat criminal groups: Rioters, common street thugs in New York who generally want to take advantage of the quarantine; the Rikers, escapees from Rikers Island, who are seeking vengeance against those who put them away; the Cleaners, insane New York Sanitation workers who wield flamethrowers and believe everyone is infected; and their most toughest enemies yet, the Last Man Battalion (LMB), an rogue private military company that was abandoned by the government during the evacuation of the First Wave, which had failed dramatically.
